How Strong Is a Custom Paper Gift Bag? | Load-Bearing Test by Huaisheng Packaging

In this video, Angela, Marketing Director of Guangzhou Huaisheng Packaging Inc., Ltd, introduces our custom paper gift bag and demonstrates its load-bearing capacity.
Many customers worry that 250gsm coated art paper may not be strong enough, so they often ask for thicker paper such as 300gsm or 350gsm. However, based on our production experience, we usually do not recommend using paper that is too thick for gift paper bags.
Why? Because paper bags need to be folded and flattened for delivery. If the paper is too thick, the edges and corners may easily crack, burst, or show white marks after folding.
For customers who are concerned about strength, we can provide real load-bearing tests. In this demonstration, we use a regular paper gift bag to hold a full box of bottled water. Each bottle is full and unopened, proving that the bag’s load-bearing capacity is strong and reliable.
Generally, our paper bags can safely hold around 5 to 10 kilograms, depending on the size, material, and structure. The bottom of the bag is also reinforced and durable, making it suitable for gifts, retail products, shopping, and brand packaging.

Can This E-commerce Mailer Box Hold a Person’s Weight?��For e-commerce shipping, packaging must be convenient, secure, and strong enough to protect the products during transportation.
In this video, we test one of the most popular mailer boxes on the market: the airplane box with tear strips. After products are loaded, the box can be sealed directly, making packing more efficient while improving product security and privacy protection.
To test its protective performance, we place two bottles of perfume inside the box. After the test, the bottles remain intact. We then use a new box for a load-bearing test, allowing a person to stand on it. The box remains undamaged, with no visible wrinkles or deformation.
The outer paper is made of 300gsm grey board, while the inner structure uses high-strength BE reinforced corrugated core. We also add another layer of 300gsm grey board to improve firmness and load-bearing capacity. This reinforced structure makes the box more reliable for e-commerce transportation, especially for fragile products.

How We Improve Magnetic Closure Packaging Boxes?

For magnetic gift boxes, customers often care about two key details: whether the magnet is strong enough, and whether the surface is easy to scratch.
In this video, we test the firmness of our magnetic closure. You can hear the clear “pop” sound when the magnet closes, showing strong magnetic attraction. Even when the box is shaken, the magnet does not open automatically. The magnet size we use is around 10–15mm, providing stable and reliable closure for premium packaging.
We also upgraded the surface finish for dark matte boxes. Traditional dark matte surfaces can easily show visible scratches, especially on black or deep-colored packaging. With our improved scratch-resistant finish, the surface remains clean even after rubbing or scratching by hand. This helps reduce after-sales issues and improves the customer experience.

How to Choose Paper for Rigid & Folding Boxes: Art Paper, Gold Card, Specialty Paper + Embossing��

Blind Box Packaging Upgrade: No Tear-Strip Tearing + Reinforced Inner Tray + Foldable Shipping

I’m Angela, Marketing Director at Guangzhou Huaisheng Packaging Inc., Ltd. Blind-box packaging is trending fast, but many brands face two recurring issues: tear strips tearing adjacent strips, and inner trays cracking or causing box bursts during transportation.
In this video, I show how we solved both problems with practical structural improvements:
* ✅ Tear-strip upgrade: adjusted the opening needle position + improved the cutting die to eliminate “adjacent tearing”
* ✅ Stronger inner tray: converted the tray’s wide edge into an inward-fold structure and added a surrounding blocking board—no change in box size, much better transport protection
* ✅ Fully foldable components: outer box, inner box, and insert can all be shipped flat—saving space and logistics cost, easy assembly upon arrival
The customer is highly satisfied and is now planning to move forward with full-container orders. Early-stage communication, identifying pain points, and delivering workable packaging solutions—this is what we do best.
