Conveyors belt is one of the most easiest tool to handle in the production unit and is often nit given that importance, It is not given the importance as it should get even it has big piece in Profit and Returns. If a conveyor is not given proper importance, the entire production process could be disturbed, it’s even a great deal of tension when proper type and form of conveyor belt is not chosen.
Conveyor Belt System is very costly at the initial installation; However the cost fluctuates with its structures and complexities. As proper maintenance is not done of the belt the material being transported gets in contact with the belt and finally to the pulleys as the belt moves. There are number of different fabrics and ingredients used in the production of the belt such as:
Cotton
Rayon
Nylon (polyester)
Steel Cords
Carcass is the driving component of the conveyor belt made up of warp yarns. There are different types of carcasses available in the market but few are most common One Ply type, Two-ply type, Multi ply type and steel cord type.
Belt Covers are also used which acts as a screen in saving the Conveyor Belt carcass and prevents the belt from erosion, greasy substances, water and different other chemicals comes out from the material conveyed.
