On November 12, 2024, Trajectry attended the Baidu World 2024 event, where 𝗕𝗮𝗶𝗱𝘂’𝘀 founder and CEO, 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶—renowned for his leadership in the tech industry and contributions to AI development in China—delivered a keynote speech titled “𝘈𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦.” This event was interesting to get some fresh insights into Baidu's upcoming developments, especially regarding AI.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲

𝟭- 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗿𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 are now emerging as the dominant form of AI applications, praised for their ease of use and significant potential. Baidu demonstrated the practical applications of its 𝗪𝗲𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 (part of its advanced AI model ecosystem) in sectors such as law, healthcare, and finance. For instance, 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝗕𝗼𝘁, has already provided efficient law services to over 9.4 million users. It can calculate compensation after incidents and generate draft legal documents based on user inputs. The Wenxin platform has attracted over 150,000 companies and 800,000 developers.

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲:
𝟮 - 𝗪𝗲𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗥𝗔𝗚
One of the key issues with AI-generated imagery is the tendency for outputs to appear artificial or distorted. We were impressed by Baidu’s solution, the 𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦-𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘈𝘎 (𝘪𝘙𝘈𝘎) 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺, which pairs Baidu’s extensive image database with its strong foundational AI model to produce highly realistic visuals. Robin Li showcased images such as Albert Einstein visiting famous landmarks— rendered flawlessly without the typical "hallucination" errors found in AI-generated images.

𝟯 - 𝗡𝗼-𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹 “𝗠𝗶𝗮𝗼𝗱𝗮”: 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿
To close the event, Robin Li unveiled 𝘔𝘪𝘢𝘰𝘥𝘢, a no-code development platform that aims to democratize app creation. By simply describing their requirements in natural language, users can build applications utilizing AI agents for various tasks. This tool makes programming accessible to all, turning ideas into applications, marking the start of an era where you can profit from just an idea.
