When everybody Zigs we should Zag - this is a very interesting way of strategic thinking that my mentor Vesna Damnjanović shared with me 13 years ago.

We were skiing and I couldn't help but notice the difference between the number of people waiting in line for the ski lift when the weather was sunny and nice VS how many people waited in line when it was dark and cold.

After snowboarding at night, it was clear that it's perhaps much better to go snowboarding at night because it wasn't crowded on the ski lift (time-saving) and it wasn't crowded on the ski slope either - so we could ride the way we liked.

It's funny how we can improve our lives when we don't just follow the crowd.

What's more important, knowing the product or knowing the customer?

Most salespeople only learn about their product and engage in the professional presentation of it, instead of sales. For the professionals who deal in sales, knowledge of the customer is the key to sales.

Harvey M. gives us the concept of thinking: A 66-question customer profile. The essence is reflected in the fact that the salesman needs to ask and keep information about his customer in order to better serve him.

To get to know customers well, it is important to know them from several aspects:
+ Client basics
+ Education
Family
+ Business biography
+ Special interests
+ Lifestyle
+ Salesman-customer relationship

This is one of the interesting "thinking tools" that can be found in the book: Swim with sharks without being eaten alive by Harvey B. Mackay

When we include content in the LinkedIn Featured section, who will be able to see that content?

Everybody. But, if you specify that your posts are visible only to your connections - only connections will be able to see the content you featured.
Regarding LinkedIn search, content in the Featured section will not be discoverable.

What should we do when a client says: Send me an offer? Is it the best way to start the conversation by sending the offer? Or maybe the best way would be to start with a conversation about the problem client wants to solve so we can understand the client?

The only constant is change itself. For people who have great life ambitions - whether it's work, sports, socializing, education, travel, the skill of change is one of the most important life skills

If we are ambitious, it means that we have imagined a state that we have not yet achieved. It means we want to get somewhere we haven't gotten before.

In order to get something we haven't had before, we have to behave differently than we have done so far.

A book that talks about change in an interesting way: Who moved my cheese by Spencer Johnson.

What is necessary to achieve high goals? We need to have productive behaviour which almost always requires going out of our comfort zone.

"This is it" vs. "Oh, I am not sure." In business and life, we must know when to say "This is it" and just go with it. Thank you, Dragan Vojvodic, for sharing your story with us.
