This year’s exceptional program brought together more than 200 participants, including leading experts from the telecommunications and IT industries, as well as enthusiasts passionate about the future of networking technologies. The agenda offered a rich variety of insights, from cutting-edge infrastructure innovations to emerging trends that will define tomorrow’s digital landscape.

What an inspiring journey at the Global MICE Forum! ⭐🚢

I am deeply grateful to the invitation to participate — being part of this event has been a standout highlight. A heartfelt thank you to all the incredible suppliers I had the opportunity to meet: our discussions were not only productive, but stir new ideas and promising possibilities for collaboration ahead.

Yesterday, the eSecurity conference officially kicked off – one of the most important regional events dedicated to information security.

The opening keynote “AI-Powered Phishing on Steroids – Threat Landscape Overview” was delivered by Rade Furtula, Presales Manager at Kaspersky. The session showcased how artificial intelligence is reshaping cybercriminal tactics in advanced phishing campaigns, with the conclusion that Serbia and the Western Balkans are increasingly becoming frequent targets.

🔑 Key takeaways:

· Kaspersky currently detects an average of 467,000 new malicious samples every day, a dramatic increase compared to 1994, when only one sample per hour was discovered.

· Over the past decade, the Kaspersky GReAT research team has identified 32 zero-day vulnerabilities, including the most recent exploitation of a Google Chrome flaw in March 2025.

· The most active APT groups in 2025 are Lazarus, with its DreamJob operation and the new modular malware CookiePlus, as well as criminal networks targeting cryptocurrencies, media organizations, and government institutions.

· Ransomware remains the most profitable form of cybercrime and has evolved into a true “industry” – one that now includes negotiators, IT support, and dedicated money laundering channels.
