On Tuesday, representatives of the U.S. Embassy staff, Erin Kontheimer Counselor for Public Affairs , Emily Graves Regional Public Engagement Specialist for Central/South Central Europe, and Dusica Milivojevic Public Engagement Coordinator met with the Director of the Cultural Center and the Library in Bujanovac, as well as with prospective program moderators interested in leading activities within American Corner Bujanovac. The meeting opened new opportunities for cooperation and further program development.
Following the meeting, American Corner Bujanovac hosted an engaging presentation led by members of the Ohio National Guard.
🌎 Through this inspiring session, participants explored the diversity of the United States — from Alaska and Hawaii to the Everglades and the Grand Canyon.
đź“š In recognition of African American History Month, we also reflected on the legacy of influential leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks.
