Wavexmedia, in association with , successfully conducted a comprehensive Baseline Study across 27 villages of Konta Block, Sukma District, Chhattisgarh, aimed at understanding livelihood and socioeconomic conditions to support future development interventions.

* Agriculture contributes 63% of primary livelihoods.
* More than 85% of households live in Kacha houses.
* Annual household income ranges between ₹24,000–₹36,000.
* Migration remains a major coping strategy among vulnerable families.
* Livestock and allied farming activities supplement rural incomes.
