Hi! I’m Merel, 19 years old, and I study Commercial Economics in Utrecht. For my internship, I’ve swapped life in the Netherlands for Curaçao for six months, where I’m working at Factory 360!
My main interest is marketing, because I really enjoy being creative and turning ideas into something people actually get to see. I especially like social media, creating content, and figuring out how to present a brand in a fun and fitting way. I love that marketing is so broad and that you constantly work with different companies, target groups, and assignments. One day you’re behind your laptop developing ideas, and the next you’re on location creating content. That variety is exactly what makes it so enjoyable for me!

In my free time, I love spending time with friends, enjoying a nice drink, and traveling to discover new places. I’m always up for something new or a bit of adventure, so living and doing an internship in Curaçao for half a year suits me perfectly!

During Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival, our team engaged with visitors while creating fun content for the festival’s social media channels. 🎤🌴

CNSJF brings people from around the world to Curaçao for three days of music, culture, great food, drinks, and unforgettable performances.

We spoke with visitors about their experience, favourite artists, and what makes the festival so special. With artists like Jeon, TOTO, Sean Paul, and many more, the energy throughout the venue was unmatched.

Hi, I’m June Verhoeven and I study Creative Business in Amsterdam. Four years ago, I completed an internship at Factory 360, which I enjoyed so much that I have now returned for another six months.

During my studies and previous experience, I have developed skills in social media, content creation, and marketing. I enjoy working creatively and love turning ideas into strong, engaging content.

In my free time, I like spending time with friends and family and I’m always up for something fun. During this internship, I hope to further develop my skills and learn new things.

With my background in Image & Media Technology, I love working at the intersection of creativity and strategy. This means I handle everything from content concepts and moodboards to organizing shoots, managing client relations, and making sure every detail is spot on.

I’ve been living on Curaçao, where I also have some of my roots, for a few years now. Helping brands tell their stories in a creative and unique way right here on the island is something I absolutely love doing!
