This incredible event that took place on October 26th 2024, at the Amphitheater of the Department of Town Planning and Housing in Nicosia, brought together architects, students, and creatives from across Europe to explore how our built environment shapes and reflects cultural identity. Through lectures and collaborative discussions, participants examined the intricate relationships between pathways, networks, and connections both in urban spaces and in the ways we engage with history and community.
What’s next?
EASA Cyprus is now gearing up for SESAM Identity 2.0, a gathering from March 1-10, 2025, where over 150 participants will dive even deeper into the theme of identity through architecture, urbanism, and artistic expression. Hosted in the old Walled city Nicosia historic center, this event will feature 12 interdisciplinary workshops producing pavilions, installations, and performances that reflect the city’s layered history.
