In zo’n anderhalf jaar tijd dat wij hier nu op wonen, mochten Marleen Dekker en ik velen vrienden en familieleden door ons prachtige landschap heen begeleiden. Door de prachtige groene valleien met wijnen van unieke druivenrassen. De heuvels waar ontelbaar veel olijven groeien, amandel, pecannoten en walnoten. Deze omgeving kozen wij met een reden en dat heeft iedereen kunnen proeven.

Gisteren hebben wij kunnen zien dat het niet onze omgeving is maar die van oma natuur. En dat daar waar eergisteren nog kleurexplosies aan bloesemende bomen en lumineuze bloemen te zien waren, nu een breed palet aan zwarttinten zichtbaar is. Het gebied wat getroffen werd door bosbrand is immens.

Het is helaas onomkeerbaar.

Bomen zijn onmisbaar in een land waar hitte regeert. Verkoelend, verstevigend, voedend en bevredigend maar ook duur.

Met deze crowdfunding wil ik graag kijken of we wat centjes kunnen verzamelen om zoveel mogelijk terug te planten in het getroffen gebied.

The Bourekia Anari is a gift.
This 30 grams of white golden package is small in size but has a huge personality.
Anari itself is already an amazing experience, but this combination brings happiness!
There are different hints of aroma’s that can be found in these treasures.
But most common is the use of rose water or cinnamon. Just a fine nuance that every anti-rose-person can still learn to like.
Lastly these little flower cakes are powdered with sugar.

Some bakeries offer these Anari Bourekia in the size of the shipwreck in front of coral bay.
Last time we found a big sweet bastard like that was in Papantoniou Bakeries Thremithousa.

The Bourekia halloumi is a strange one in the family.
The dough isn’t the same as the brother and sister Bourekia, so eating this bastard son won’t give you the same crisp as the other Bourekia.
The filling is made of seasoned Halloumi and the salty flavor will add happiness to your brains when entering your face.
They are more often unavailable than available in both Zorpas and Papaenthoniou. At Papaenthoniou we haven’t seen them at all.
The Zorbas Bakeries at Hellados Ave 81 does offer them every now and then.
