d3con 2026: From programmatic to attention - DOOH enters its next phase

“DOOH in Germany: Strategies, Innovations and What We Can Learn from Other Markets” featuring Sönke Schlüter (OTTO), Carina Morales (Kleinanzeigen) and Andreas Heinze (Ströer), moderated by Lothar Krause.

The discussion highlighted how DOOH in Germany continues to evolve, driven by advancements in technology, creativity and data-driven planning. Key topics included the growing role of contextual relevance, audience understanding, programmatic buying, and how different industries are leveraging DOOH more strategically.

Looking beyond the local market, the panel also explored international best practices, identifying where Germany can learn from other markets and where it is already setting strong standards.

We were particularly pleased to open the session with our Lenovo × FRAMEN case in collaboration with Lumen Research, demonstrating how attention can be measured through eye-tracking and translated into real brand and lower-funnel impact.

A special highlight: our CMO and Co-Founder Magdalena Pusch was honored with a Speaker Award.

Beyond the stage, d3con once again proved to be a great opportunity to reconnect with partners, clients and industry peers, and to meet many new faces across the ecosystem.

Intersections 2025 showed one thing very clearly: the future of DOOH will be built at the intersection of technology, context and measurable attention 🚀

This year, FRAMEN joined Intersections in Milan to discuss how AI, real-time attention metrics and indoor environments are reshaping media planning.

What stood out across all conversations:
brands are no longer asking if DOOH can drive performance, they’re asking how far it can go.

Indoor DOOH is moving into a new phase:
 • smarter targeting through real-world context
 • stronger creative performance through attention insights
 • measurable impact closer to the point of decision.

And that’s exactly what we explored together with Lenovo (Eleonora Baglini), Nexi (Martina Lombardi), Antonella La Carpia, and Sara Meghnagi during our session “Hacking the Future of Indoor DOOH with AI: When technology and context truly make the difference”, followed by a panel discussion diving deeper into how technology and context combine to create real business outcomes.

It’s exciting to see indoor DOOH evolve from a visibility channel into a strategic performance layer within the video ecosystem.
