Kudos Research's healthcare department has won the prestigious IQCS (Interviewer Quality Control Scheme) data collection quality award.
The jury stated: "Kudos Research’s submission describes a multi-country quant and qual project comprising 300 interviews with directors and senior managers in the biotech and life sciences industry.
Having worked with their client since 2015, their experience and flexibility came to the fore when fieldwork delays had to be accommodated while still meeting a set in stone deadline, and requiring what Kudos describe as ‘almost symbiotic levels of closeness with the client’.
The findings resulted in the client taking a ‘course correction’ in the new service the research was focusing on, and Kudos has been commissioned to conduct the data collection exercise on the refined service that’s now emerged.
Their client praises their consistent, high quality service, going the extra mile, and frequently exceeding expectations

Drug Repurposing Day 2022.
My name is Marella Fernandes and I am the Deputy Head of Kudos Health. Kudos Health is a healthcare and biotech/ Life Sciences field and tab company based in London and Berlin.

Beacon (fka Findacure) and Kudos Health have conducted some workshops together under the Kudos Health Day umbrella before the pandemic. There is a close relationship and Kudos Research has been a proud supporter of Beacon since 2018.

Last week, Beacon kindly invited me to attend their Drug Repurposing for Rare Disease Conference ( ) at the America Square Conference Rooms. I was excited to attend.
It was a wonderful event, held in a lovely venue with the historic Roman London Wall running through, providing a memorable backdrop.
The event was meticulously planned with dynamic speakers on interesting topics that ranged from exploring drug repurposing for rare diseases to presentations on LifeArc’s development of a drug repurposing toolkit, Cancer Research UK’s DETERMINE initiative and NHS England’s Medicines repurposing programme.
I loved the lightning talks – speakers presenting their initiatives in 5minutes, in a race to .

The most inspiring part of the day was listening to patients speak of their personal journeys and experiences of navigating healthcare and at their most vulnerable finding the drive and determination to find a cure.

I have come away with a better understanding and knowledge for the need to repurpose medication and learned that the small number of patients who will benefit from the treatment make developing drugs for rare diseases challenging. Medical systems may find it difficult to pay for these very expensive treatments.

It’s a lonely road patients travel, and Beacon are doing an amazing and important job of shining a spotlight on the benefits of repurposing medication.
