Hello there,
the Final VOODOO MARKET was a beautiful day for a lot of people.
I am tired but extremely happy, full of love & thankful. Time for a big round of Thank Yous. First, the visitors. Thanks to you, we raised 2.269,86€ through the many donations at the entrance, bar and DIY station which had prepared. (Donations by designer not yet included but will follow shortly.) A sum which will be transferred to the family we love this week. YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE! Thank you to Jules Mumm, Rhinoçéros, Brut Berlin & PROPERCORN for the friendly support at the bar! Thank you to Blogfabrik for opening your doors all day to us. It has been like we’ve been partners for much longer (Julia 🙌). A HUGE THANKS to Vreni Frost & & your team for helping with the bar, entrance & location. Another gigantic GRACIE to Marta & Ivan from Antikapratika who met with me on a freezing January day to spark the energy in me to do this one more time. Thank you for kindly offering to take some pressure off my shoulders and renting the entire music set-up! 💜! Thanks to our DJs Brice & 🎶. My heart goes out to all our designers & creatives...Oryanne and I were right to invite you to do this one more time because not only did we admire your unique talents but also your spirit. We simply enjoyed your presence at all those markets over the years. Some of you came back from “market-retirement” just for that day. I saw all your posts, stories, shares & your help setting- up and cleaning. Without you, there wouldn’t be any VOODOO. You showed us once more the spirit that makes it a creative family rather than a sales platform. I want to thank for showing his full support and ❤️ in all of this. Meant a lot to everyone. Love you!
I would also like to thank my family who gave me the energy & love to do this. U are my favorite humans! 🌈 Last but not least, I want to thank my VOODOOpartner and friend for inviting me on this journey so many years ago. This creative world would not have opened up to me without you! I feel richer, more inspired and happier because of you & VOODOO MARKET! Merci!

Dear supporters and community of VOODOO MARKET,
I am deeply sorry and there are no words to describe the feelings at this point but Oryanne passed away this week. She was one of the bravest and most energetic positive lights in a lot of people's lives. She introduced me to the many designers and creatives I had the honor to meet in the past eight years. I learned about the variety of talents, the community-spirit, fair, local and sustainable design in the highest quality. There are no words how much she is missed. Oryanne was spontaneaous and fearless - nerver short of surprises. She had the idea behind VOODOO MARKET and I feel like the luckiest person she asked me to join her in this adventure which became a regular meeting for friends and strangers to celebrate art & design. Oryanne made everyone feel welcome and we had always hoped to see visitors as well as our exhibitors leave the market high on creative energy.
My VOOODOOpartner and friend somehow discovered the creatives and invited them to become part of the family. She helped the talents grow from hobby to professional with the market and her shop. We took a pause to leave all energy for Oryanne to undergo treatment. It was her wish to have the market one more time and she made a great selection - as always. It was pure joy to see Oryanne's positive energy glow as we planned the market. Now, it will be an honor to see all of the preparations and planning come together in a week from now. We will hold the Final VOODOO MARKET next Saturday, 7th April at Blogfabrik to embrace and celebrate the source of light, inspiration and love Oryanne was. Hoping to make her proud. Leaving you with an aching soul but full of love and gratitude.

One of the most beautiful places and oldest buildings in the city centre. Feels like you're in the countryside but it's a former dancehall with backyard from 1700 preserved by the Keramik Museum (ceramics museum). They are hosting a fundraiser to help support them today through a ceramics fleamarket. What they are offering is insane! From 100 year old handmade bowls to French 60s art or Mitropa train porcelain and North African craftsmanship - you can find it here. Prices are very reasonable and if you get the chance to chat with the museum's club members, you'll leave with lots of stories and learnings as well.
The fleamarket is today from 11AM-5PM at Schustehrusstrasse 13, Charlottenburg.

With heavy hearts and sad souls, we have to cancel the Spring Edition that was planned for the 24th April. We will let you know as soon as we got a new date.
