Well well, it's been a while since our last Innocean Berlin Friday Takeover. Maybe because no one stood up to the challenge, maybe because we forgot to ask around, maybe maybe maybe. Just blame Ricardo, always works. Anyways, what better way to kick off the 2022 season than with someone who survived a flood, a house burn, and got kidnapped before the age of six? Ladies and Germans, get your IG eyes ready for the one Rowan (pronounced "row-one", like at the movie theater). Not Rawan. Not Rowèn. Not Juan. Not José. Not Rowan Atkhinson either - althoug she's weirdly funny like the guy. Who else would be overly proud of bad puns? Ok, besides her and Nico? Born in Egypt but raised in Abu Dhabi, Toronto and Berlin, our meme-addict sphinx speaks English, French, Arabic but her secret weapon is reciting the whole alphabet in sign language. She's into football (the real one, the Brazilian one), fashion, sneakers, music and feels most alive at the beach. Reason why she's here, freezing her Mediterranean soul in Berlin. The sunniest place on Earth. Go figure. For now, let's do our best to decode the mind of this unique creature through her posts. The stage is yours, Juan!

He's called Andrés but you shouldn't call him Andrés. No señor. It's pronounced "undress" - from the Spanish "desnúdate". Then, and only then, can you be friends with Mr. Andrade, who's originally from Ecuador but has been living in Germany for almost 20 years. No wonder some locals call him Zieh Dich Aus but that's a different story. Between Quito and Berlin there have been a few stop overs: München, Karlsruhe, Hamburg, Paris, Amsterdam, Glasgow, London and Barcelona. And one spectacular event: launching a music project "Krötenlecker" inspired by the nonsensical fact that a toad was made illegal in California because too many people were licking them to get high. A project which put two of his biggest passions together - music and design. His latest album "Gravity Dance" was produced and released during the first months of the pandemic and (self-promo alert) can be found on Spotify. In his spare time he can be found playing tennis, guitar, patching cables on modular synthesizers or, for today only, producing amazing internetical content for Innocean Berlin's Instagram Takeover. Shine, amigo!

Serena is funny. Borderline crazy, but funny. The straitjacket with a unicorn pin, kind of funny. Let's see why. She taught her grandma to like advertising and now the 85- year-old knows all Cannes winners. Loves all paper things but is a "digital" strategist. Likes all food except coriander ‘cause "coriander is evil". And is addicted to newsletters. Yes, the lady has a thing for "subscribe" buttons and will read every single newsletter that comes her way. What might be the source of all this magical wisdom, you may ask. The answer is countryside Italy, far away from society and with no TV in sight. Then came the first solo trip at age 13, which apparently hasn't ended yet. First was Spain, then India, and now Germany. So before she moves somewhere else, let's hand her our beloved Innocean Berlin IG Friday Takeover password and rejoice at some borderline crazy pics.

There's a first time for everything. Spotting a shooting star. Missing a flight. Watching Rocky IV. And then there's the first time our beloved Innocean Berlin Friday Instagram Takeover is actually handled by a duo. But not just any duo. We're talking about the self-proclaimed "First Innocean Berlin Asian-Asian Creative Team" here. Changkyu Ku and Quynh Tran Khanh. Or Kyu and Quynh. Or, as they're known around Mitte: Killer Queen. And don't you mess with them either. Kyu served 2 years in the army as a sniper. Queen is a giant BTS fan and belongs to a fandom called "ARMY". He's from South Korea and owns the best unofficial Korean fried chicken franchise in Berlin. She's from Vietnam but hates phở. They're Killer Queen. Dynamite with a laser beam. Guaranteed to blow your mind. Four hands, one password to our IG account. This will be fun.

id you know that Innocean Berlin is the home for 28 nationalities? No? Great, because it's . Since Ichraq joined us back in July 2020 we're actually at 29. Let's count: Germany, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, Croatia, Turkey. Italy, Netherlands, Ecuador, Colombia, Vietnam, Spain, France, UK, USA, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Sweden, Egypt, Dominican Republic, India, Georgia, Portugal, Argentina, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania and, with Ichraq, Morocco. To be specific, from a small city near the beach - where she manages to visit at least 3 times a year. Not only to visit her parents but to smuggle local sweets back to her new home in Berlin. In this back and forth she managed to pick up nothing less than 4 languages: Arabic, French, English and, just like every Berliner, a bit of German. Now she's studying Russian so one day she'll read her favourite writer, Dostoevsky, in its raw form. But first, pictures. Ichraq, the Innocean Berlin IG Friday Takeover is yours. Shine!

This Friday's Innocean Berlin IG takeover is a walking contradiction. She posts on IG feed but never on stories. Loves coffee, cooking plantains, telling stories, but has no favorite things. Brought Bad Bunny and Alice Coltrane together in her Spotify "On repeat" playlist. Grew up in the Dominican Republic under a 365 day/year sun but loves the Berlin winter. Ladies and Germans, this is Manu. The youngest of three sisters and her dad's last hope of having a son to carry his name – it’s the reason why he added an “a” to “Manuel(a) Antonio(a) Rondón”. He's also given her itchy feet, for Manu has a thing for travelling: She embraced Madrid, London, Tokyo and Hamburg until finally settling down in wunderbar Neukölln. And now she's here, in your smartphone, overcoming a lifelong struggle of not being able to post on IG stories. Stay strong, Manu!

There are est. 750.000 online predators looking for underage preys, on a daily basis.
Yes, 750.000.
So we've partnered with AMBER Alert Europe to raise awareness on May 25th, International Missing Children's Day.

Today's Innocean Berlin IG Takeover will be curated by the ultimate Italian stereotype. Let's check: Works in a pizzaria? Check. Owns a Vespa? Double check. Gesticulates a lot? Triple check. BAM! The Italiaometer has exploded. Her name is Ilaria and she's our charismatically shy Junior Account Manager. Or that was Ilaria, before she actually moved to Germany. Now she's the perfect Italian-living-in-Germany stereotype: complains about the weather? JA! Complains about the food? DOPPEL JA! Speaks fluent German? NATÜRLICH NEIN! Even though she's originally from Genoa and currently living in Hamburg, her heart belongs to Madrid. And to reading (apart from thrillers). And to traveling. And to spending time with her friends and family. Apparently she's also obsessed with coffee, cheese and hugs and handles all three at the same time while gesticulating. Well, some stereotypes are just too deep to be outlived. Take us to your photographical world, gentile signora!

Ladies and Germans, meet Ismail. Ismail is from Istanbul and lives in Berlin Kreuzberg, where, depending on the street corner, means he's technically in Istanbul and Berlin at the same time. But the Ismail that left Istanbul is not the same Ismail that lives in Berlin. NEIN! He has turned from a dog person into a cat person, to a point where he actually volunteers for cat sitting - a lockdown symptom yet to be catalogued by Charité's neuroscientists. Ismail loves to cook, climb, dance, read, write, draw, cycle and cats. All at once. He's also looking for a WG in Berlin, so if you know anyone who knows someone who's looking for a Ismail kind of guy, write to . But not today. Today he's busy filling our beloved Innocean Friday Instagram Takeover with Turkish visual delights. In Berlin.
