We were privileged to create the key visual for , commemorating Jerzy Giedroyc and celebrating his enduring influence.

The concept draws inspiration from the original historic signet featuring a column, reimagined through a contemporary lens. The newly developed abstract forms were then applied across all supporting materials, functioning as photo masks and structural elements that enhance the overall layouts.

Visual identity for the conference Potential Solidarities, held at the University of Potsdam. We designed the poster and programme, setting all titles in our SL Comrade typeface. Organised by Popular Dynamics in partnership with Einstein Forum and Leibniz-ZWZ, with support from the DFG.

We are proud to have been invited to participate in the competition for the visual identity of the project and exhibition “Języki z wody” [Liquid Tongues] by Bogna Burska and Daniel Kotowski, curated by Ewa Chomicka and Jolanta Woszczenko, which will be presented in the Polish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale this year.

The foundation of the proposed visual identity for “Liquid Toungues” is the image in motion. In this way, the field of meaning is shifted toward sign language, which—like movement—exists in time. This solution challenges the order in which a static image is subsequently animated. Movement, as the point of departure for the concept, constitutes a symbolic reversal of hierarchy on the interpretive level.

The poster has been developed as a time-based medium from which interactions, freeze frames, and brief pauses are derived. Typography and image are never final but instead “emerge,” thereby reinforcing key threads of the curatorial concept: the polyphony of marginalized languages and the pursuit of shared spaces of understanding despite differences. This approach preserves the integrity of the idea—the poster is not a closed composition, but rather a fragment of an ongoing process.

A huge shout-out to everyone who beautifully contributed to this project in our studio.

We are truly excited about this amazing collaboration with Foundations for Ukraine, now continuing for the third year in a row. We designed a complete visual identity, including an animated logo concept, font pairings, a colour palette, and typographic layouts, all compiled into a style guidelines document requested by the client. In addition, we developed a website whose key feature is a set of animated organisation cards.
