Today our Head of Design Saydan Celik will join this year’s Pictoplasma Festival in Berlin as part of the symposium “Characters in Practice”.

In his talk, he will reflect on how character can exist beyond traditional mascots and figurative design, and how behavior, attitude, and minimal visual cues can still create personality within contemporary brand communication.

AI, culture, brands, breakfast — not a bad way to spend a morning at ☕🤖

This week, JvM gathered industry leaders and curious minds for the 4th Executive Breakfast to explore how Agentic AI is reshaping the way brands are discovered, experienced, and remembered.

From cultural relevance to the growing role of machines in decision-making, the conversations were sharp, open, and refreshingly real.

A few of our Havel teammates were there too, taking in the discussions, meeting inspiring people, and bringing back plenty of food for thought. 💚

Ever since supporting in the launch of their incredible new Formula E car (the Opel GSE 27FE), we’ve become a bit obsessed 🏎️

Now we can’t get enough of Formula E, and so a few folks from Havel went to watch the 2026 Berlin E-Prix event over the weekend. It was a wild ride!

Can’t wait to see Opel competing with their Gen4 car next year 👀

Our very own Emil Schwärzler, together with his team partner Jonas Perkmann just won the Film category at Young Lions Hamburg.

48 hours. One brief. From idea to ex*****on. And they delivered.

Beyond the trophy, they’re coming back with what really matters - a great experience, a lot of fun, and proof that strong ideas win under pressure.

Next stop: Cannes… Wish them luck!

Timo Boll – The Art of Table Tennis. A tribute by Butterfly🏓

What a farewell. For ’s final Bundesliga match, we partnered with and the to create a unique tribute: hand-carved linocut artworks by artist on Timo’s table tennis rackets, capturing the greatest moments of his remarkable career.

On June 15, Timo was surprised with the project in front of 5,000 fans in Frankfurt – an emotional tribute to an extraordinary journey.

In September, the artworks will be exhibited during Berlin Art Week. A limited edition of fine art prints and T-shirts will also be released, with proceeds going to charity.

Timo, you’ve inspired generations – with style, fairness, and passion. Thank you for your path, your game, your character.
