For me the easiest way to create a feeling for a new brand is to create a ‚mini story mood board‘ 😆
Here you see it with one of the submark logos, I created for a new .

What’s hidden behind the colors?
a happy family (gold), flower decoration (sand),

Living room interior (charcoal)
