Retail solutions reimagined 💭

At this year’s EuroShop in Düsseldorf, we designed and realized a brand space for Liebherr Appliances, showcasing high-performance refrigeration solutions for the retail sector.

Building on the evolution of Liebherr’s trade fair concept for the third consecutive show, the booth introduced a warmer color palette and a more open architectural approach. Supermarket solutions became a spatial design element, integrating over 25 appliances seamlessly into the environment.

Beyond product presentation, the concept prioritized dialogue and hospitality: a central counter as first point of contact, dedicated meeting rooms, a lounge area, and thoughtfully integrated privacy elements created an inviting, interaction-driven atmosphere.

By balancing premium aesthetics with smart planning and budget efficiency, the result was a space that felt open, approachable, and purposefully designed for connection.

Translating industrial innovation into a welcoming spatial design.

For KHS at this year’s Interpack, we once again brought a booth concept centered on openness, comfort, and professional intimacy.

Building on the success of previous fairs, the design uses light, sheer curtains as booth walls. This creates a unique architectural balance, offering a private, cozy setting while still maintaining a bright and inviting space for exchange and discovery.

Running for a Cause: Uniplan at the Wings for Life World Run 2026 🏃

Yesterday, Uniplaners from our German and Greater China offices laced up their running shoes for the Wings for Life World Run, an event which is about making an impact, with 100% of all entry fees and donations going directly toward spinal cord injury research.

Together, our team covered a combined distance of roughly 70 kilometers during perfect running weather. It was inspiring to be part of such a big movement: worldwide, 349,527 participants joined forces to raise a total of €9.2 million. 💪🏼

Translating L’Oréal’s Kérastase activation into an unforgettable real-world moment 🧴

In collaboration with Kérastase Paris, Uniplan moved beyond traditional event formats to architect the "Goodnight Honey" event, which was a limited-edition immersive experience at the Shanghai EDITION Hotels.

The activation reimagined the nighttime hair care ritual as a high-end social event, blending luxury aesthetics with a relaxed atmosphere, designed exclusively to function as a private party where participants could unwind in an immersive nighttime setting.

The Experience Architecture:
✦ Immersive Social Interaction: We created a customized hotel scene featuring a pajama party-atmosphere. From fun photo opportunities to lucky draws, the event created a carefree atmosphere for the guests.
✦ 8-Hour Hair Care Ritual: The journey centered on the new Kérastase "Goodnight Hair Care" product, which guests experienced through personalized rituals.
✦ The "Beauty Sleep" Transformation: The ex*****on focused on the tangible results of the overnight ritual, demonstrating how salon-level care during pre-sleep hours leads to rejuvenated, silky-smooth hair by morning.

Through meticulous planning and the seamless blending of product experience with immersive scenarios, we empowered Paris to be interpreted as high-end hair care with a fresh attitude.

Turning art into an immersive experience 🎨

Most art experiences are designed to simply show artwork. For "Echoes of Sharjah," our Dubai office took a different approach: we made visitors earn it.

We led the concept, design, and delivery for this immersive experience during the Xposure International Photography Festival 2026. The project was built around a single mural by Marcel van Luit, which we deconstructed into five distinct environments.

Instead of revealing the entire mural at once, visitors first encountered fragments through environments that responded to their movement, thereby experiencing the pieces before ever seeing the whole. While the activation was tech-forward, the technology never competed with the art because everything was designed to connect.

On this year's Creativity and Innovation Day, the project serves as a reminder that the most impactful creative decisions are often about knowing what not to do and trusting the experience to do the rest.

For Autoliv ’s pop-up exhibition, we moved beyond the traditional corporate launch to architect a tech-art exhibition held at the historic Wuhan Pinghe Packing Factory.

This event bridges the gap between automotive safety technology and the public, creating a multi-dimensional platform where innovation meets the iconic Wuhan cherry blossom season.

The Highlights:
→ Immersive Experience: To truly integrate the brand’s core into the exhibition, we curated different scenes: from a 70-year tech evolution gallery to interactive DIY zones and immersive performances.
→ Talent Activation: The event doubles as a recruitment hub, featuring on-site interviews and direct feedback, successfully attracting the next generation.
→ Social Responsibility: Through specialized children’s safety workshops and educational sessions, we transformed Autoliv’s mission of "Saving More Lives" into a tangible community experience.

By merging cutting-edge technology with youthful and scenic design, we helped Autoliv strengthen its strategic foothold in Central China while achieving massive brand visibility and cultural resonance.

Translating ambition into activation for GROHE 🚿

As part of an ongoing partnership across multiple trade fairs, Uniplan managed the technical planning and full-scale realization of GROHE's presence at this year’s SHK. From the initial preparation phases to on-site support, we transformed a complex architectural vision into a high-impact reality.

The open, clearly zoned stand accommodated over 200 exhibits across 16 specialized product walls dedicated to Bathroom, Kitchen, and Sustainable Living. To showcase this range efficiently, we implemented a high-end wall system featuring indirect lighting and seamlessly integrated, closed sanitary systems.

By taking full lead on the technical takeover, we successfully bridged the gap between the initial design and flawless physical ex*****on, ensuring every detail reflected the brand’s commitment to innovation and design competence.

Architecting the intersection of ancient tradition and modern technology

We transformed Xi’an’s iconic Grand Tang Everbright City into a unique travel photography landmark for OPPO's travel photography experience.

Located in the heart of Xi’an, this immersive space invited visitors to explore the Tang Dynasty feeling while simultaneously testing the excellent imaging of the new Find X9 Series.

The magic of the project lay in the details of the ex*****on, turning a historical setting into a modern brand journey:

→ Spatial Storytelling: We curated four themed zones, from a gilded VIP Front Hall to a Rear Palace Product Experience, recreating the Tang Dynasty feeling of grandeur.
→ Seamless Journey: A gamified stamp-collection circuit guided visitors through interactive touchpoints and hands-on product trials.
→ Massive Reach: The activation became a seasonal standout, with over 20,000 gifts distributed to a community of photography enthusiasts and Hanfu fans.

By balancing cultural depth with high-impact visibility, we empowered OPPO to turn a digital brand story into a tangible, premier cultural experience.

Translating travel enthusiasm into a sensory experience

For Travelzoo at ITB Berlin, the challenge was to materialize the mindset of its club members' travel enthusiasm into a single spatial identity by creating a presence that authentically reflects the feeling of total immersion.

This vision took shape as an architectural environment defined by two circular portals, referencing the globe, the constant movement of travel, and the idea of a closed club.

Through a curated mix of materiality, form, and media, we brought the concept to life as a coherent, five-dimensional journey:

▪️ Sight: Panoramic LED surfaces expanded the spatial horizon into global landscapes.
▪️ Sound: A restrained soundscape supported a focused, conversational atmosphere.
▪️ Scent: A subtle signature scent added depth and presence.
▪️ Touch: Natural textures and crafted wood surfaces shaped a tactile, welcoming interior.
▪️ Taste: Healthy drink options named after global travel personas added a light, exploratory note.

The result was a multi-sensory and immersive space that translates Travelzoo's vision into a tangible experience.
