Artist and computer freak - Tim Berresheim is both. For our client Fujitsu, we conceived and produced a documentary about Tim in cooperation with graphics chip specialist Nvidia. His sophisticated art is high tech and plays with the boundaries of reality. No wonder he found the "perfect fit" for his work in the powerful workstations of the Fujitsu brand. Because like Fujitsu, Tim is constantly exploring the state of the technically feasible.
Tim's images depict three-dimensional, illusionistic scenarios and spaces and are realized as photographs, silkscreens or prints. His work with CGI and DGI delivers - and this applies to both his figurative and abstract works - plausible visual worlds that follow physical laws. Integral to his exhibitions are modern augmented reality apps used in art education.
Conceptually as well as formally, Tim's digital CGI works are the result of intensive computing. A Fujitsu workstation tailored precisely to his needs gives his inspiration exactly the flexible and accelerated workflow that always makes his art so new and direct. Born in Aachen, Tim has not only kept the international art world on its toes since his first exhibition in 2003. It also makes the hearts of IT specialists beat faster.
