PAP first developed the award-winning BP Shop-in-Shop system — a flexible, modular retail concept designed to adapt to different store formats and product categories.
But the development did not stop there.

Building on the original concept, PAP expanded the system with new elements such as clothing racks, display islands, and decorative features, all designed to integrate seamlessly within the existing modular framework. The result is even greater flexibility, more layout possibilities, and a retail solution that continues to evolve while staying true to its original design principles.

Following the development of the SIS system for Bierbaum-Proenen, PAP continued to support the evolving retail and events requirements with additional design and implementation projects.

Over time, this collaboration expanded from developing individual elements, such as display podiums, to the design and furnishing of events.

The images shown here are 3D visualizations created by PAP during the design process. These renderings were used in communicating concepts, materials, and spatial layouts with both the client and production partners.

From technical planning to visual presentation, every step focused on creating clear communication and efficient ex*****on throughout the project.

From sketch to reality — every successful project starts with a strong vision.

PAP’s award-winning Shop-in-Shop project, developed in collaboration with Bierbaum-Proenen, began exactly there: with an idea translated into sketches, technical thinking, and precise ex*****on.

The first concepts focused on creating a retail system that truly represented the brand’s identity:
– black metal combined with wood
– strong and durable materials
– a functional design inspired by the workwear industry itself

The challenge was not only to create a visually strong system, but to develop something modular, adaptable, and built for long-term use in different retail environments.

From first hand sketches to detailed 3D visualisations and production planning, every step of the process was designed, developed, and managed by PAP.

This project later received:

– German Brand Award 2023
– German Design Award 2024
