Shopping is a separate theme for Vegas, this city is full of shops and boutiques. There are also two outlets on the outskirts, it is there that we are hopelessly mired in the abyss of shopping. In July, prices for well-known American brands turned out to be very pleasant (before the appreciation, now, of course, is another story). Large selection of sportswear, casual clothing, sunglasses, suitcases. But it’s hard to find something elegant or businesslike here, but this is typical for America. I recommend allocating a whole day for shopping, unless, of course!

It is difficult to imagine a trip to America without the legendary entertainment city of Las Vegas. This is definitely one of the places I really wanted to visit. We all know this city from numerous films, clips and TV shows, and everyone already has an established idea of \u200b\u200bthis place. In my mind, this is a city of unbridled round-the-clock fun, wild parties and crazy weddings. Vegas is a grandiose scenery against the backdrop of a hot desert. In films, it looks large, in reality it is just one street lined with hotels, and around the area with small houses where locals live. It's not fun to walk there.

Despite the fact that reality is different from the movies, Vegas managed to surprise us. First of all, magnificent hotels, stunning in their scale, each of which is a miracle of engineering and design.

Hotels and casinos.

The center of Vegas life and the most presentable hotel is the Bellagio with its impressive singing fountains. The creators of the hotel were inspired by the Italian town of the same name on Lake Como. From the outside, the hotel looks monumental, but modest.

Opposite is the Hotel Paris, which masterfully recreates the atmosphere of this city. Its territory has its own Eiffel Tower (2 times smaller than the real one), a triumphal arch, the Pont Alexandre III, the facade of the Paris Opera and the Louvre. Inside the hotel are typical Parisian cafes, shops and even a cabaret - all located on a vast territory. The romantic atmosphere of this wonderful city is recreated in the smallest detail.

I suggest you, on the eve of the weekend, take a ride to the world-famous American "city of sin" - Las Vegas.
We will leave for Las Vegas from Los Angeles on a regular long-distance bus from Megabus. Tickets can be easily bought on the website (listed on the bus) with a bank card. An electronic ticket is sent to the mail, according to the selected places. Departure from Los Angeles Central Station (Union Station) early in the morning. The road is long - it takes more than 5 hours to drive through the mountains and the desert with one stop along the way. The bus station where the bus arrives is located south of the Las Vegas Strip, near the airport, and does not stand out with anything remarkable, except for an unusual contingent of different races and typical American police officers. You can get to the center by a regular city bus, which departs regularly from the same station. And since at the entrance to the city we were told that we were getting into the show, we are not surprised that recognizable images from all over the world and even from different historical eras. For example, opposite the "New York-New York", if you go through the transition to the other side of the street, you will get to the hotel-casino "Excalibur".

On my birthday I visited the Stratosphere Tower and tried all 3 attractions. I climbed to a height of 264 meters on the elevator, there is an open observation deck with a breathtaking view of Las Vegas, you can see how the planes come in to land on the same level with you! I started with the "X-Scream" hill, it gives the impression that the car will not stop at the edge of the rails hanging from a height of 264 meters and fall into the abyss. Then I tested myself on the "Big Shot" catapult. meters at a speed of 70 km / h, and then free fall down. On this attraction, I began to chew on a tie, and so I was ready to chew on a tie too, well it was not! And the last attraction completely finished off my vestibular apparatus! "Insanity" is a carousel with open booths, which rapidly rotates at a height of 264 meters and extends from the edge of the building by 20 meters. After the rides I bought my funny photos and souvenirs.

This 8 mile trail is a moderate to easy one. It has excellent scenery overall and a constant view of Lake Mead.
You can complete the hike in 3+ hours; with pictures and conversations with your group, can take up to 4 hours.
Totally enjoyed the time here. Also it’s a short drive to Boulder City so you can treat yourself to a meal afterwards at any one of the many restaurants.
This was a wonderful couple hour hike with the Family. Gorgeous views, super cool tunnels and easy railroad grade. We didn't make it all the way to the dam starting from the entrance by the lake; we did have 3 kids with us. Ages 4, 7 and 10. So all things considered if we can do this all most likely anyone else can. Great for biking. Mind the heat always and bring water!

When the bright lights of Vegas are already repeating and you want something else, there is a simple and inexpensive solution: Red Rock Canyon.

You rent a car for $50 and quietly leave their cities. In just 20 minutes you are already there!

There are several places where it is recommended to stop:
- fairly large parking lot on the highway (free of charge): general view of the canyon through the desert;
- further, having stopped at a paid territory - to see a local small museum. But if there are a lot of people, you can skip it, there is nothing impressive;
- but the entrance to the canyon itself is highly recommended! Look at the photo - it's really beautiful when you stand close.

In general, the whole territory is open for walks on foot, which people actively use.

But we had enough and general views - up close it is very beautiful. Pay a little and enjoy!

Very big wheel, huge cabins, beautiful view (but the windows were dirty for filming on camera)! From the hotel Caesar we were given a discount of $ 10, the journey itself is 30 minutes. I didn’t like the fact that, with a large number of empty booths, we were put in with two more people (coronavirus after all in the world)!

The Strip is the center of the city's day and night life. It contains the best and most expensive hotels. It offers the best panorama of the city center and a view of luxury hotels and casinos. This is the shopping center of Las Vegas. with many shops. It's nice to walk at a leisurely pace on different sides of this street and admire the beautiful hotels. You can climb to the height of the transitional bridge and take pictures of the panoramas of the city. This street is beautiful during the day and especially in the evening, when everything is colored with colorful lights.
