Just migrated my Joomla module Mod. DIGI Latest News to Joomla 6.

The migration was a great opportunity to dive deep into the modern PHP extension architecture that Joomla 4/5/6 now fully embraces:

→ Dependency Injection Container (PSR-11)
→ Service Provider pattern (services/provider.php)
→ AbstractModuleDispatcher + HelperFactoryAwareInterface
→ PSR-4 autoloading — no more legacy JLoader
→ InstallerScriptInterface for the installer script
→ Native PHP functions replacing removed Joomla\CMS\Filesystem classes

The same patterns you find in Symfony and Laravel — now standard in Joomla extensions.

I also used Claude (Anthropic) as an AI pair programmer throughout the process. Not just for code generation, but for architectural decisions, debug sessions, and understanding the "why" behind each pattern. A genuinely useful workflow.

Fixed: TinyMCE Flashing Bug on Firefox for Joomla 4
In the last few days, many Joomla users have been struggling with a frustrating 'flashing' loop in the TinyMCE editor following the Firefox v148+ update. While the official patch was being prepared for newer versions, a specific fix for Joomla 4.4.x was still missing.
At Digitest, we didn't just wait. We took action by backporting the fix logic, adapting it to the Joomla 4 API, and ensuring compatibility with the legacy editor structure.
After a full day of intensive testing by our content creation team in a real production environment, I’m happy to share that the fix works perfectly. I’ve just submitted the Pull Request to the community repository to make this solution available to everyone still running J4.
Being part of the Open Source ecosystem is about this: identifying a problem, engineering a solution, and giving it back to the community.
