This week marked one of the largest hospital relocations in Germany. München Klinik transferred its operations to a new state-of-the-art healthcare complex, offering modern treatment facilities across nearly 60,000 square metres, with 550 inpatient beds and additional day-care capacity.
The entire move was carried out while maintaining uninterrupted patient care – an impressive logistical achievement in itself. Around 300 patients were safely transferred to the new facility, alongside highly specialised medical equipment. The relocation also involved 340 physicians and 870 medical, technical and support staff, as well as 3,500 boxes of equipment and supplies.
Nowy Styl and Kusch+Co were proud to contribute to one of the most significant healthcare infrastructure projects in Germany. We furnished a substantial part of the new facility, creating spaces that support both patient comfort and the daily work of healthcare professionals. Our solutions can be found throughout the children's ward, main lobby, waiting areas, corridors and staff workspaces. The collections selected for the project include Lupino, Colani, Genaya and V-Care.
