Vor Ort kannst Du verschiedene Berufsfelder kennenlernen, mit Branchenprofis ins Gespräch kommen und per VR einen Einblick in unterschiedliche Arbeitswelten der Musikwirtschaft bekommen.

Die MBSS ist in vollem Gange!!

Die nächsten Tage erleben die Teilnehmenden der Music Publishing Summer School, Recorded Music Summer School und Live Entertainment Summer School eine praxisnahe Kombination aus Theorie, Insights und Networking.
Die ersten Sessions und die obligatorische Barkassenfahrt sind bereits geschafft, weiter gehts mit Seminaren und Austauschrunden beim wichtigsten deutschsprachigen Weiterbildungs- und Professionalisierungsangebot für die Musikwirtschaft.

Wir suchen Verstärkung für das Team von Hamburg Music!

Ab sofort ist die Position als Projektmanager*in (m/w/d) im Bereich Weiterbildung (36-40h/Woche, Elternzeitvertretung) neu zu besetzen.

Zu den Hauptaufgaben gehören unter anderem die Projektleitung der Music Business Summer School und von Hamburg Music Boost sowie das entsprechende Fördermittelmanagement. Wer Leidenschaft für die Musikwirtschaft und fundierte Erfahrung im Projektmanagement mitbringt, findet hier eine spannende Position an der Schnittstelle von Weiterbildung, Verbandsarbeit und Musikbranche.

Der Countdown läuft: Nächste Woche ist Reeperbahn Festival! Hamburg Music ist dort sehr aktiv – und natürlich auch wieder mit unserer Flagship-Location Hamburg Haus am Start. Dieses Jahr mit frischem Programm in einer neuen Location: Wir laden Euch in den 25 Club an der Reeperbahn 25 ein – echte Kiez-Club-Atmosphäre inklusive!

Das Hamburg Haus ist der von Hamburg Music kuratierte Treffpunkt der Hamburger Musikwirtschaft während des Festivals: ein Ort für Unternehmen, Institutionen und Künstler*innen sowie ihre internationalen Gäste. Neben einigen alten Hasen haben wir in diesem Jahr auch viele Mitgliedsunternehmen zum ersten Mal dabei.

Das Programm vernetzt Partner*innen aus Label-, Live-, Publishing-, Tech- und Kulturinstitutionen sowie Politik und Verwaltung in einem kompakten Setting, das Sichtbarkeit, Austausch und konkrete Zusammenarbeit ermöglicht.

„Meet Hamburg’s emerging music companies” is a curated match-making session at Reeperbahn Festival in collaboration with Hamburg Music, bringing a selection of relevant music companies.

As one of Germany’s leading live music hubs and home to a dense network of venues, labels, publishers, booking agencies, and creative institutions, the city of Hamburg offers valuable opportunities for artists to build audiences and industry connections. With its international outlook, vibrant club culture, and flagship events such as Reeperbahn Festival, Hamburg serves as an important entry point for musicians looking to establish themselves in the German and wider European market.

In line with this year’s theme, “Forever Legit?”, we particularly encourage younger generations to apply for this session — hoping for emerging voices to actively shape exchange, challenge conventions, and redefine what feels relevant within today’s music landscape.

Hamburg Music is collaborating with CNM: Your French Music Partner , Berlin Music Commission , Kreativ München BPM Sachsen and professional networks of the NRW region to bring together French and German music industry professionals for short and effective „Import X Export“ speed meetings at Hamburg Haus during Reeperbahn Festival .

Booking agencies and promoters, festivals and venues, labels and publishers, PR agencies, music supervisors, managements - professionals from all sub-sectors of the music industry are welcome (ideally both sellers and buyers).

The speed meeting session will take place during the Reeperbahn Festival on Thursday, Sept 17, from 14:00-16:00.

Each company can only be represented by one person. Application until Sept 6th via link in bio!
