– A Solitude Dance Performance
Part IV/VII
Solitude of the body
My grandmother is 91 years old. She has seen her fair share of social, political and economical changes and disruptions, throughout her live. World War II. The rise and fall of the former GDR. The reunification of East and West Germany. Me growing up – and moving away. (Just kidding. Cross that one out.)
Life-altering events so dramatic, severe and very likely, frightening to the bone – I can not imagine.

Change is part of our lives, part of nature itself. The actual reason why we as human beings do exist. Though, most of us resist change. We fear it.
For a good reason. Change means unknown outcome. And we sure like to know what's going on. I do.
Embrace change, face it. Chances are, there will be something good in it for all of us.
For now, stay optimistic and
