This big is Africa in reality…
Africa is actually much larger than it often appears on conventional maps due to the Mercator projection, which distorts the size of landmasses near the poles. In reality, Africa is the second-largest continent and can fit the United States, China, India, and much of Europe within its borders, according to Paterson Simons. The Mercator projection, while useful for navigation, exaggerates the size of landmasses in higher latitudes, making Africa appear smaller.
