Have you ever heard of NPS, also known as net promoter score? It is a common method in market research to measure customer satisfaction or – as with our project – the willingness of pharmacy staff to recommend various OTC products. We find it really interesting to compare the NPS for different products vs. main competitors and to identify the reason for a high or low willingness to recommend.

The product designs of an entire category – grooming devices for men and women – shall be re-designed. 3 new design routes with different CMF (colour, material, finishing) shall be tested. To identify the most convincing design and understand consumers’ perception (e.g. spontaneous impression, likes, dislikes) we suggest a monadic approach: therewith, each new design will be tested against the current version and competitor designs.

A new ironing device is being developed and shall be launched in Europe soon. But beforehand, an extensive usage test is planned. Not only is consumers’ satisfaction & usage experience captured in a quantitative survey that is completed at the end of the test period, but we are also deep-diving into certain topics by conducting qualitative interviews in respondents’ homes: therewith, we can see the product being used by consumers and get a better understanding of possible usage issues.

Formerly rather a niche product robot vacuum cleaners become more and more popular and more and more multifunctional. However formerly positioned in a higher price segment, prices decrease and, thus, the question occurs how to design and equip a medium-priced product which is highly attractive for consumers and able to fit their needs and expectations, however, will not cannibalize the premium segment. Therefore, several propositions were developed and must be evaluated in a qualitative concept test. Later, conjoint measurement will follow to quantify success and to make final adjustments. Very curious already about the outcomes – from our perspective all concepts look very promising 😊

As part of a quantitative concept test for nutritional supplements during , we spoke with gynecologists and pregnant women. Standard KPIs were measured and likes & dislikes were identified using a digital marker tool, which were later visualized through heatmaps.

Innovation supremacy is a central cornerstone of the German automotive industry’s global success. Steadily new technologies must be adapted to the needs of the users and communicated in a way that is appropriate for the target group. In this exciting online study with Chinese participants, possible usage areas for a new technology were first explored in interviews, then condensed and visualised into concepts, and finally evaluated in focus groups with new participants.

How many Germans suffer from cough? What remedies are known and which are used most often? What information sources are consumers using and what information are they looking for? What is driving consumers’ decision for a specific remedy against cough – and where do they buy it? These and many more questions are being answered with our current research project: a quantitative online survey!

How many women in Germany are currently pregnant or plan to have children? Do they use pre-conception and pregnancy vitamins? Where do they look for information and what kind of information is needed? Where are the vitamins purchased – and why? We are shedding light on this customer decision journey with an online survey.

Sustainability becomes more and more a relevant topic in consumers’ minds. However, the attitude-behavioral gap is big and a well-known issue for marketeers: Do consumers really follow their expressed wishes or are there nevertheless some negative reactions and reservations towards more sustainable packages and products in terms of quality, robustness etc. Accordingly, our client’s key question is: Which are the emotional and rational reactions towards a 100% sustainable packaging in comparison with the current standard? Is there any negative impact regarding the conveyed values and attributes? And to which extent this might have an impact on preference and perceived value for money? A critical question in these times … we are very curious if consumers really follow their proclaimed ecological awareness.
