Over more than seven decades, iF has developed to become an international standard-setter for excellent design.

iF Design stands for innovative design as a trademark since 1953 and is a market and trend barometer. We host various annual design awards, most notably our renowned iF DESIGN AWARD. Additionally, we organize competitions for well-known clients from all over the world. The iF logo, which is given to our award winners of our competitions, has become an internationally acknowledged symbol of outstan

ding design. It serves as a signal for design-interested audiences in the global economies. So, an iF design award is a valuable advertising instrument, and for end users it's a neutral and independent decision-making aid. It is our aim to strengthen public awareness of design. To achieve this, we take great care in extending the communication network that we have built through our design-oriented activities over the years. With our longtime, multi-faceted know-how in the areas of competition design and management and in all questions related to design and economic issues we have become one of the largest and most respected design centers in the world.

Organic lines. Sculptural light. ✨

VIDA takes its place among the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 winners, translating the landscapes of southern Brazil into a modular lighting collection.

Inspired by the Yellow Cardinal and the flowing character of the Pampa, the design balances linear and organic forms in a calm, expressive silhouette. Different heights and lighting configurations allow personalized compositions that shift with the space around them.

Designed as both illumination and sculptural presence, VIDA explores the connection between nature, atmosphere and contemporary form.

Meet guest lecturer for our "AI Strategy for Design Leaders" course, Daria Tarawneh, design leader, educator and systems thinker with 20 years of global experience.

She specializes in turning complexity into clarity through strategic, human-centered design.

Currently, she is VP of Design at SAP Build AI, leading design for AI-powered enterprise experiences. Her work sits at the intersection of UX, business strategy, emerging technology and trusted AI adoption.

Previously, Daria led UX at AWS, worked at Miro building security and compliance experiences for AI, built startups in Japan and New Zealand, consulted at McKinsey and earned an MBA to deepen the connection between business and design.
