iF Design stands for innovative design as a trademark since 1953 and is a market and trend barometer. We host various annual design awards, most notably our renowned iF DESIGN AWARD. Additionally, we organize competitions for well-known clients from all over the world. The iF logo, which is given to our award winners of our competitions, has become an internationally acknowledged symbol of outstan

ding design. It serves as a signal for design-interested audiences in the global economies. So, an iF design award is a valuable advertising instrument, and for end users it's a neutral and independent decision-making aid. It is our aim to strengthen public awareness of design. To achieve this, we take great care in extending the communication network that we have built through our design-oriented activities over the years. When the air gets bad, Birdie® drops. 🐤👀

Birdie® 2.0 joins the ranks of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 Gold winners, bringing a playful and intuitive approach to indoor air quality monitoring.

With people spending around 90% of their lives indoors, often in spaces with poor air quality, Birdie® addresses a largely invisible issue with a simple and highly visible response.

Just like the canary in the coal mine, the CO2 monitor falls from its perch when air quality becomes poor. Once a window is opened and fresh air enters the room, it returns to its upright position. Reliable Swiss technology meets playful Danish design, translating a digital measurement into a simple analog response.

Its humorous design language makes sure the message gets noticed, without relying on a screen or conventional warning signal.

Where science meets thoughtful craftsmanship. ✨

POLA GRANDLUXE O takes its place among the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 winners, bringing together sculptural form, tactile character and refined detail in skincare packaging. Inspired by the idea of what enriches life, the design reimagines packaging as a meaningful sensory experience.

Created by hand, the form and texture evoke the structure of cells, giving the packaging an organic presence. The design also draws from the Japanese tradition of folding paper by hand, echoing the care and intention of wrapping a gift.
