Dear friends and customers,
In 1994, Lasertex was founded by my brother and me,
back then operating under the name Copythek.
Our focus at that time was on copie and blueprints, hence the name.
In 1995, my brother left the company to fully dedicate himself to
his printing business in Birkenfeld.
Therefore, 2024 marks our 30th anniversary.
Thirty years have flown by. Much has changed.
The company has continually repositioned itself,
at times reinventing itself. We have always kept up with the times,
discontinuing certain areas and replacing them with new services
and products. We have now become one of the largest providers
of textile finishing (printing and embroidery) and advertising technology in the region.
Now, the time for a change has come again.
In order to handle the numerous large orders in textile finishing,
I have decided to convert our office on Kaiserstraße into a pure production facility.
As a result, our office on Bruchwiesenstraße (industrial area, opposite BMW Euler)
will be the only point of contact for our customers.
There are parking spaces right in front of the door.
The planned renovation of Kaiserstraße in 2024 is one of the reasons for this change.
With a long closure and the loss of a large part of the parking spaces after completion,
a retail store at the original location no longer offers any prospects.
Our graphic designer, Samir Miari, is leaving the company after 15 years
at the end of the year to undergo a complete professional change.
We wish him all the best for the future. He played a significant role
in our success of the past years.
I would also like to express my gratitude to my production team,
Mr. Schlimm, who has been leading the production department since 1996,
and Mrs. Schlimm, who supports him perfectly.
Without you, the multitude of orders would not be manageable.
Thanks also to Daniela Weisling of Werbebüro Weisling,
who, after the acquisition in 2020, significantly expanded Lasertex's portfolio
in the field of advertising technology and has a strong team of graphic designers,
installers, and advertising technology specialists by her side.
Mrs. Weisling, the epitome of reliability, is already looking forward
to the challenges and projects that await her and her team in the new year.
Starting in January, we welcome the advertising technician Alexander Peshevski
to our team. We are excited to have you on board.
In the anniversary year, many promotions and surprises await you.
Information regarding these will be presented to you in a timely manner
through the usual channels.
I am incredibly excited about what 2024 will bring and wish you all
a peaceful Christmas and a fantastic start to the new year.
