es ist mal wieder soweit: zur buchmesse erscheint der 7. band der FRANKFURT-reihe von wilhelm opatz /
wir durften wieder die passenden taschen dazu drucken und freuen uns schon auf die veröffentlichung, auch aus einem ganz besonderen grund - dazu bald mehr!
It’s that time of year again: the 7th volume of the FRANKFURT series by Wilhelm Opatz / is being published to coincide with the book fair.
We’ve once again had the pleasure of printing the matching bags and are already looking forward to the publication, not least for a very special reason – more on that soon!

hello people,
dieses wochenende noch nicht verplant? dann unbedingt vorbeischauen beim HOT PRINTING FESTIVAL in offenbach. veranstaltet wird dieses tolle event vom Klingspor Museum und der einfachheit halber zitieren wir aus deren account:

“kommt vorbei, es wird bunt! zur dritten ausgabe des druckfestivals treffen sich über 90 kunstschaffende am wochenende vom 22.–23. august. die druckgrafik ist hier in allen facetten vertreten – vom siebdruckplakat über traditionellen buchdruck, experimentelle lithografie und materialdruck bis hin zum comic oder zine in knallfarben aus dem risodrucker.”

alles findet statt im klingspor-museum am samstag von 11-19 uhr & am sonntag von 11 - 16 uhr.
schaut vorbei, wir freuen uns!

ganz besonders freuen wir uns auf die standnachbarschaft zu - YEAH!

das coolste was hier auf dem planeten rumschleicht sind natürlich... KATZEN!😺
unsere abstract cat gibt’s nun endlich wieder aus stofftasche in sechs schönen farben. schnuppert mal rein in unseren onlineshop, 10 exemplare pro farbe haben wir momentan am start.
und wenn es die zeit erlaubt drucken wir auch das schon lange ausverkaufte poster bald mal nach.

our ‘Abstract Cat’ is finally back as a tote bag in six lovely colours. do pop into our online shop – we’ve got 10 of each colour in stock at the moment.

die temperaturen schreien nicht gerade nach wärmflaschen. obwohl...
wir haben erfahren, dass sie an heissen tagen auch im gefrorenen zustand sehr gute dienste leisten.
in jedem fall sind wärmflaschen eine top erfindung!
in diesem sinne huldigt unser mehrfarbiger siebdruck diesen praktischen alltagsgegenstand.

the temperatures aren’t exactly calling for hot water bottles. although...
we’ve found that even when frozen, they work wonders on hot days.
in any case, hot water bottles are a fantastic invention!
with that in mind, our multicolored screen print pays tribute to this practical everyday item.

tadaaaa, es ist soweit...die offiziellen workshoptermine stehen fest (sternschnuppe als emoji)
beim ersten kurs am 18.07. dreht sich alles um den mehrfarbigen siebdruck auf geschirrtücher. ihr braucht keinerlei vorkenntnisse, wir bringen euch alles bei :)
alle einzelheiten über diesen drucktag findet ihr über den link in der bio.

The first session on 18 July is all about multi-colour screen printing on tea towels. You don’t need any prior experience – we’ll teach you everything :)

YEAH, eines unserer werke hat es ins museum geschafft!
Und zwar „Triangle“ aus dem Jahr 2019 (mittelteil eines triptychons, umflankt von „Square“ und „Circle“).
wir wünschten das geniale Serigrafie-Museum Filderstadt wäre hier um die ecke. denn wegen der üblen hitze werden wir am sonntag leider nicht zur vernissage der ausstellung „Wie mit Seide - Die Zartheit der Serigrafie“ anreisen. zum glück geht die schau bis zum 06.09. und wir können die originale noch unter die lupe nehmen. das solltet ihr auch, denn die künstlerischen positionen sind soooo divers, sooo interessant und soooo exzellent!

YEAH, one of our works made it into the museum!
It’s “Triangle” from 2019 (the middle panel of a triptych, flanked by “Square” and “Circle”).
We wish the awesome Serigrafie-Museum Filderstadt were just around the corner. But because of the sweltering heat, we unfortunately won’t be able to make it to the opening of the exhibition “Like Silk—The Delicacy of Screen Printing” on Sunday. Luckily, the show runs until September 6, so we’ll still be able to take a closer look at the originals. You should too, because the artistic approaches are soooo diverse, sooo interesting, and soooo excellent!

„the forest for the trees“ von Benedikt Luft hier nochmals im detail - sowohl siebe als auch druckergebnisse. beim irisdruck kommt der unikatcharakter der siebdrucke nochmal ganz besonders zur geltung, denn kein farbverlauf gleicht dem anderen... ihr wollt die drucke noch näher betrachten? dann schaut rein bei „prints charming“ in der DER MIXER FRANKFURT do/fr 14-17, sa von 13 - 17 Uhr. auch ansonsten sehr sehenswert :)
