Unbelievable how fast this month in Seville went by.

Despite a severe lack of sleep 😴 and emotional turmoil, I’m so thankful.

It was the first time I really got to thrive in a community of entrepreneurs that really get me. The hardship and thrill it is to build something of your own.

For me, every day is Women's Day, but this year felt special.

I was invited to the European Commission in Brussels. 🇪🇺🎉

The European Female Founders Summit was filled with sessions and workshops with the most inspiring entrepreneurs, VCs, politicians, and mentors.

It makes me hopeful and determined for the future.

💪 May we acknowledge that this fight isn't just for women but for everybody who's experienced systemic oppression.

💪 May we not just succeed in those systems but alter them.

💪 May we have the strength to speak up for one another. Open our networks, share our resources, and become .

Today I want to celebrate that startup teams who worked with me and the Phoenix Brand Consultancy® have raised over $12.5 Mio in pre-seed and seed funding in 2022. 🎉

It’s been a historically challenging year for founders. The downturn washed over each sector, slowing our progress to close gender-funding gaps.

It’s also been a tough year for me—lots of painful yet necessary growth.

I learned that I need to be patient and nurture human connections more than anything. That I have to give a lot before I receive. And that I’m not helpful to anybody when my nervous system is on fire.

I want to thank the founders, doers, and fighters who trusted me this year. 🤗

I’m incredibly proud of you. You rise to the challenge with grace and vulnerability. Thank you for teaching me and learning from me.

Not sure how to create unique ? Start with what not to do. At least, that's our approach at the Phoenix Brand Consultancy.

I'm introducing a new monthly content format: the cliché mood board! 🎨 In this edition, we're closely looking at the visual of mental health startups.

It's our very own method to identify overused visual patterns in a specific industry. These commonly used codes are not, per definition, "bad design." They are very easy to agree on because people find them expected and somewhat pleasant.

This is where a visual strategy comes into place: The point of your brand identity is to stand out in a sea of sameness and be easily remembered. For that, you need to stay away from the clichés and create something more distinctive.
