April brings another vibrant set of highlights from some of our clients across Europe.

Constantin Trinks takes on the musical direction of Lortzing’s rarely performed revolutionary opera Regina at Oper Leipzig, where the new production premieres on 25 April as part of the city’s Lortzing Festival.

Meanwhile, Palazzetto Bru Zane releases the world premiere recording of Charles Silver’s La Belle au bois dormant on 24 April, while a staged version of the work is presented at the Opéra de Saint-Étienne on 24 and 26 April.

Freiburger Barockorchester heads out on a European tour with Vivaldi’s Il Giustino under the musical direction of René Jacobs, with performances in Heidelberg, Valencia, Antwerp, Freiburg and Madrid between 17 and 25 April.

And on 21 April, the Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik presents its 2026 jubilee season in Berlin, offering a first look at the 50th festival summer, centred around Cesti’s monumental Il pomo d’oro.

A brilliant opening for the Internationales Bachfest Stuttgart 2026 of the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart. Under the motto “Weil wir Bach lieben!”, and among many outstanding program highlights, a few moments stood out in particular.

The Gaechinger Cantorey under the direction of Hans-Christoph Rademann unfolded a festive sound in the opening concert “Klangpracht des Dresdner Barock.”

The Junges Stuttgarter Bach Ensemble (JSB Ensemble) performed Bach’s Lutheran Masses with Kathy Saltzman Romey.

The Barockorchester and Vox Luminis (Énekkar Rákóczi) presented Telemann cantatas.

March brings a vibrant set of highlights from some of our clients across Europe.

Internationales Bachfest Stuttgart celebrates the enduring fascination with Johann Sebastian Bach from 13 to 28 March under the motto “Weil wir Bach lieben!”, Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart presenting 16 days of concerts, talks and cross-genre encounters throughout the city.

On 13 March, La Cetra Barockorchester & Vokalensemble Basel performs J. S. Bach’s St Matthew Passion under the direction of Andrea Marcon in Basel – a true classic of the Passion season, and one that promises once again a vivid and deeply compelling musical interpretation.

Freiburger Barockorchester presents “HEAR! we move” on 21 March in Freiburg, an inclusive concert project bringing together hearing and hearing-impaired students, musicians and contemporary choreography in a shared exploration of music, movement and perception.

Meanwhile, Palazzetto Bru Zane shines a spotlight on female composers: the Venice cycle “Louise Farrenc – A Child of the Century” runs from 28 March to 28 April, while the Bru Zane label releases the long-forgotten opera “Mazeppa” by Clémence de Grandval on 13 March. The work will also receive its German staged premiere at Theater Dortmund on 15 March, marking a new step in the rediscovery of this remarkable composer.
