🇮🇹 Riva vibes, big smiles, and great company!

At this year’s Riva Bike Festival in Riva del Garda, we joined the Bosch eMTB Challenge alongside . From the trails, to packed signing sessions at , and , the energy never slowed down.

We also supported in launching their new Targon helmet, welcoming media to the ABUS’ factory for an exclusive first look behind the scenes.

Between catching up with long-time friends and meeting exciting new brands, we manage to celebrate ‘s 21st anniversary with a small gathering of friends.

This trip had everything we love about the bike world: the people, the partnerships, beautiful scenery and the rides. 👌🏻

ABUS TARGON Launch

Great product. Great people. Great times.

Two days in Italy with , media and ambassadors and the perfect kick-off for a new chapter in ABUS MTB.

The new TARGON is much more than just another helmet. It is ABUS’ first convertible MTB helmet and the first MTB helmet from the brand’s Made in Italy production.

Ahead of the Riva Bike Festival, we joined ABUS at Lago di Garda for an exclusive launch camp: product deep-dive, test rides on local trails, good conversations, great food and a closer look at what makes the TARGON special.

On day two, we visited the Maxi Studio, where the helmet is manufactured alongside some of ABUS’ high-end road helmets – a proper behind-the-scenes look at where the magic happens.

From the 2-in-1 concept to details like the Speed Latch System, which makes attaching the chin bar quick and easy, and the Zoom Rapid Fit System, which allows for precise fit adjustment, the Targon brings a lot of smart thinking into one clean, good-looking package.

We already saw some great media coverage go live on May 1 – and there is more to come. Keep your eyes peeled.

Openings are here — and we’re more than ready for bike season. 🙌

A quick look at when some of our favourite destinations are kicking things off:

1. .bike has already opened both Trail Centers, Trailcenter Faaker See since 1 April, and Trailcenter Ossiacher See since the weekend. And on top of that: lake.bike celebrates its 10 anniversary this year which means 10 years of trail building, lake vibes and pure awesomeness — sing happy birthday once you’re there!

2. opened two singletrails on Easter, and now the countdown is on: not even a week until the big opening on 8 May, which also marks the start of the 25th anniversary celebrations of

3. .kingdom is up next. Kicking-off the season at Bike Kingdom Park in on 14 May, with .official to follow on 30 May. is open since the weekend.

4. .soelden joins the party on 4 June, kicking off a full month of events and party, followed by the Bike Republic Sölden Festival including Swatch Nines.

Mountain biking goes museum!

We stopped by the opening of the new permanent MTB exhibition at the Verkehrszentrum — and honestly, it’s well worth a visit. From the very first Stumpjumper by to Nina Hoffmann’s World Cup bike by , there’s one iconic piece after another. See one of the early Rampage bikes there too: ’ RM7 — which Rasoulution Founder rode himself back in 2001 and 2002.

And as if that wasn’t enough, we also got to meet the one and only .hoff96 on site 💯

The exhibition tells the story of a sport that has always pushed limits, driven innovation, and made the impossible look possible. That’s what mountain biking is all about and exactly why it deserves its place in a museum.
