A Tauschkasten (exchange box) is a simple but wonderful idea: children can leave toys they no longer play with and take another toy home instead. ♻️✨

It’s a great way to teach kids about sharing, sustainability, and giving toys a second life. Instead of throwing things away, families help each other while reducing waste.

Many neighborhoods across Germany have these small exchange boxes, where books, toys, puzzles, and games can find a new home and make another child happy.

👨‍👧 Tax Class 2 – Single Parents
💑 Tax Class 3 – Higher earner in a marriage
👫 Tax Class 4 – Married couples with similar incomes
🤝 Tax Class 5 – Spouse of a Tax Class 3 partner
💼 Tax Class 6 – Second job or multiple employers
