5 Months Ago, Everything Changed...

Five months ago, I was completely exhausted.

After spending 15 years working in elderly care, I dedicated my life to supporting others. I loved caring for people, but the long hours, physical demands, and emotional pressure were taking their toll on me.

What made it even harder was feeling like I had no control over my own time. When I needed a holiday to rest and recharge, I often couldn't get the time off I needed. I was constantly working around schedules that weren't mine, and I began to wonder if this was how life would always be.

There was a time when I thought I was doing everything right.

I worked hard. I sacrificed. I put everyone else's needs before my own. As a single mom working in elderly care, my days were long, my nights were exhausting, and my body was constantly in pain. I was always tired, always worried, always stressed about how I would keep going.

The little free time I had wasn't really free. I spent it sleeping, trying to recover from the physical and emotional exhaustion so I could wake up and do it all over again the next day.

I barely had time for myself.
I barely had time for my child.
I barely had time to enjoy life.

I remember watching other people travel, spend time with their families, and enjoy simple moments of freedom. Deep down, I wondered if that kind of life would ever be possible for me.

There was a time when I felt completely lost.

I woke up every day carrying so much on my shoulders. As a single mom, I was trying to be everything for everyone. I was working hard, taking care of my children, dealing with life's challenges, and at the same time battling my own struggles, stress, exhaustion, and health issues.

Some days, I cried in silence.

Some days, I felt like giving up.

I wondered if things would ever change. I wondered if there was something more for me than just surviving from one day to the next. The dreams I once had seemed so far away, and for a long time, I lost hope.

For 15 years, I worked as a nurse and caregiver, taking care of elderly people. I loved helping others, but the long hours, physical demands, and constant pressure took a toll on me. As a single mom and a caregiver providing elderly care at home, my days started early and ended late. I spent my time caring for others, but somewhere along the way, I stopped taking care of myself.

The long hours, physical demands, and constant stress began to affect my health. I was tired all the time, emotionally drained, and heartbroken that I wasn't spending enough quality time with my child. I dreamed of creating beautiful memories together, traveling, and enjoying life, but I simply couldn't find the time or energy.

A time I smiled on the outside but silently carried the weight of stress, fear, bills, motherhood, and wondering if life would ever change for me.

As a mom, I wanted more than just surviving.

I wanted to be present for my family without constantly worrying about finances.

I didn’t come from a perfect background.
I didn’t have everything figured out.
