5 TIPS to create📝CAPTIONS📝that succeed!
1️⃣KEEP IT SHORT
Unless you share lots of tips (like I do), you should rather keep your caption short.
Instagram is a visual platform so most users just want to take a quick look at the image or video and move on. Because of that it's important to fill in the 📢MOST IMPORTANT INFO📢in the first 3-4 lines!
It's also great to🤗use emojis🤗to deliver your message and save space at the same time.
2️⃣USE HASHTAGS
Many say never use the whole 30 hashtags. That’s❌NOT ❌ quite true. Actually hashtags can help you a lot, especially if your account is new and very small!👍
Will talk more about hashtags in the next post. What you should keep in mind for now is that you shouldn’t be afraid to utilize all 30 hashtags.😌
3️⃣ SPEAK YOUR FOLLOWER'S LANGUAGE
Each community has it's own language. The more technical terms you use the better. Just try to connect with your audience as best as you can!
4️⃣USE A CALL TO ACTION
It's best to use a CTA at the beginning of your caption.
Studies show that using action-words like “follow”, “check”, “comment”, “like”, “start” or “discover” are more effective at prompting your followers to do something than passive nouns and adjectives.
5️⃣MENTION OTHER ACCOUNTS
This is a great way to create connections with other accounts. It's also beneficial to promote one another. So every time you post a picture with someone else in it, or a brand use a mention.
⚠️Only mention people or brands that have something to do with the post. Don’t mention random accounts as that might turn against you! ⚠️
