This here is much more than a plate with coffee (really, trust me).

It's a gesture that makes my morning better. ✨

It's a display of customer journey well handled. ✨

It's also not specifically about the coffee, but.. about that sweetener (a detail? yes, that's the point!)

This is what can happen to me if I head out to work a bit at one of our local cafès. It's called "Kaffeemühle", is very German in a nice old school way - and after I enter and sit down,

it has become a pleasant for sequence of my morning
to directly be handed MY kind of coffee.

They see me coming and get my coffee prepped. ☕

The only question after the nice 'good morning' is:
"Shall it be one or two soft-boiled eggs this morning?"

Now, this time, Sandra (let's call her that) went to a level higher:
The sweetener (which indeed I always use and typically have to get myself from the counter)
was already added to the plate.



Pure heaven.

✨ Someone paying attention to your preferences.

Going into butler / concierge mode.

How great is that?

Of course, I DO have a learning for your branding here:

This is how it works.
Yes, also online (or: especially).
Yes, also in 2026.

You still sell to humans.

And us humans love that:
Someone seeing us.
Paying attention.

This is what good and does:
Paying attention in each customer touchpoint.
Making sure they feel seen.

Weirdly simple, right?

Where have you noticed such attention to detail lately - and how did it make you feel?
Is there one touchpoint in your business life, may it be colleagues as 'clients' or 'real' clients / customers where you're like: Ah, now that I reflect.. we might easily do this and it might wow them...

We looked up someone running a very successful company recently.
Solid profits, steady growth, knows exactly what they're doing.

Their LinkedIn?
249 connections.

Here's what we've noticed when clients struggle to "finally be more present":

a) They don't know how yet. (We can fix that.)

b) They already sense it's not the right move for them. (We help figure that out too.)

Before asking "how do we post more regularly?" - ask "should we be here at all?"

Strategy first. Channels second.

Let me share this tool I just shared again with one of our clients. I had first heard about it from Gilkey originally - and since them I have been using it over and over again. Let me share why it's on my shortlist of preferred mental concepts:

1. It is super simple. And if you think about it, this is what a business and its work areas come down to.

2. It is very flexible and realistic. Of course, one would like to have all elements at an all-time high, but especially with restricted resources and also simply within a VUCA world, you can't always map it all out. This concept here allows you to easily spin the plates and say, "Ok, this week my focus is on... visibility."

3. It helps you focus and also trust that even IF what you invest now in visibility might not immediately turn into cashflow (it seldom does), it will transform into opportunities and those will turn into cashflow (that is if you get branding right, are able to create trust, but let's just assume that is the case).

Feeling stuck, somehow not getting anywhere? This one method helps in over 75% of cases: 👇

💡Change the perspective.
1⃣ Mentally: What would our customer, mechanic, grandma, Einstein, a musician say?

2⃣ Or factually:

Go up a mountain, into the city, or whatever makes your brain feel different.

To a conference.

To another country.

Do not mess around with a "must be" AI addition in your product if that messes with its core promise.

There is a graphic design tool out there
that thought it highly important to 'put in some AI'
(or rather it was probably 'the investors')
and now what you are left with as a user is
a product that had been working perfectly well
and reliable
but now

all
the
f****ing
time does not get your resources loaded
as the program is seemingly in overload getting it all handled.

You also can't dare anymore to use it 3pm onwards 🙈
as then the US gets to their desks 🧖
and it will get even worse.

Please:
💡Before you add to your product so called
'extra value'
make sure it does not mess
with your quality core product.
These are completely unnecessary risks
that mess with trust and
therefore brand and
therefore revenue in the end.

This accounts always, yes, even and especially when it is about 'that AI'. It only adds to AI's bad image - the fingers of both my hands don't suffice to count the useless 'solutions' I have seen happening.

Don't do it. Nope.
Really, please not.
