AI can create the image. But what does legal say? 🤔

This week, MDCT Stage brought together creatives and legal expert Azize Ekinci for an insightful exchange on the legal side of using photos and AI-generated visuals.

Key takeaways:
🔸 Copyright stays with the photographer.
🔸 Personality rights apply when people are identifiable.
🔸 And prompts like “in the style of Mickey Mouse”? Not allowed.

To help agencies stay on safe ground, participants received Azize’s AI & image rights checklist – with practical guidance on contracts, clauses and usage rights. Because creativity should move fast. Legal certainty should move with it.
