WACKEN OPEN AIR 2026 🤘🔥

Luckily we had more “shine” than rain at this year’s WACKEN OPEN AIR. We arrived at the Holy Ground equipped with plenty of sunscreen, to once again proudly offer advice to Wacken Metal Battle bands from all over the world in the Metal Battle Lounge. We also had the pleasure of meeting our friends from EMP again and helping to organize an exclusive interview with Savatage in EMP’s popular Backstage Club Area. It was wonderful to meet so many familiar and new faces – including media partners, influencers, artists, and friends – and to once again enjoy one of Savatage’s spectacular performances as part of their current European tour. We’re already looking forward to returning to the Holy Ground in 2027!

Happy Album Release Day Savatage 🤘🔥

Today a long-lost chapter of Savatage history finally comes to light: "Madness Reigns From The Gutter (1990)", a previously unreleased official live recording capturing the band at the height of their legendary “Rulin’ Gutter” tour.

Carefully restored from the original master tapes and newly mixed and mastered, the 19-track album presents Savatage at peak voltage: ferocious yet refined, balancing power metal muscle with the sweeping grandeur that would soon shape their next chapter.

"Madness Reigns From The Gutter (1990)" is available as CD Digipak and Heavyweight Black 3LP Gatefold edition.
