My last day of Takeover💛

These are some paintings from my Life Balance project.

I usually take quite a long time to develop ideas for my paintings, choose color combinations, and decide which materials work best together.

Before I start painting on a large canvas, I spend a lot of time testing different colors, shapes, and compositions.

These are some of my favorite artworks, and I even exhibited them at an art fair. :)

Have a lovely, green summer, all !

Thank you for taking the time to enjoy my artwork 🎨🌼

Today is Day 4 of my Instagram takeover 🌸🌷🌼

Here are some postcard and invitation artwork pieces I created for the brand and the atelier.

I used oil pastels, color pencils and crayons on paper. For these ceramic plates, I used acrylic paint 🎨

I hope you enjoy seeing my artwork :)

You can discover more of my work at Zoe Park Shaumburg-Müller.

Tomorrow is my final day of the takeover. See you then.

Thank you 🧡

I began studying and practicing art as a teenager, and I have been drawing for many years. My primary mediums are oil pastel and crayon.

I am particularly drawn to naive art styles with vibrant, kitschy colors, and I enjoy incorporating these elements into my own work.

My art embraces a playful, childlike approach, combining expressive drawing techniques with bold and colorful compositions.

These pieces are part of my dog-themed series, along with a selection of drawings inspired by my everyday life.

Thanks for waiting me. You can find more my artwork on my Instagram page at Zoe Park Shaumburg-Müller.

See you tomorrow ! Have a lovely day all 🥂

✨ Meet the speaker! ✨

Saskia Wilson is a conceptual creative who believes in staying serious about being playful. Rooted in the idea that we are all natural-born creatives as children, she explores how imagination, curiosity, and joy can remain part of our creative practice as we grow.

Based in Copenhagen, Saskia works as a Senior Designer at Hello Monday/DEPT.

Outside the studio, Saskia spends her time reading ghost stories and making ceramic figurines.

𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘧𝘶𝘭
Has your creativity calcified as you’ve grown up?

Somewhere along the way, imagination and play tend to get labeled as childish.

But what happens if we bring a little of that childlike thinking back into our design practice?

At our next event, we’ll explore how playfulness and imagination can coexist with real-world constraints — and what creative benefits might emerge when we allow ourselves to think a little more like our younger selves.

will share insights from working in an agency where designing for kids is at the core, and reflect on how that mindset can shape design processes, collaboration, and outcomes.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯 — 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨
Last night we had the pleasure of welcoming Eva Mielle Taute for a talk on design psychology and authenticity.

She asked us to reconsider where aesthetic decisions actually come from.

We began with Toby Israel’s concept of “environmental autobiographies” —
the spatial memories that shape our sense of comfort, materiality, proportion, and atmosphere.

As Gaston Bachelard suggests, our inner life is structured like a home — shaped by rooms and memory.

If that’s true, then design is never neutral.

We looked at the dominant outside-in model —
where aesthetic training, trends, and industry codes are adapted to the client.

And contrasted it with an inside-out process:
one that uncovers personal history, values, and psychological scripts before form is defined.
𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦.
𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦-𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘺.

Through the framework
𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘵 · 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 · 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴
we examined how childhood spaces, cultural context, temperament, and lived experience function
not as background — but as material.

𝘞𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘢 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘷𝘢𝘴.
𝘞𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘺.

And perhaps the role of design is not to invent — but to translate.

✨ Meet the speaker! ✨

At the core of her work is creating spaces and experiences that support well-being — and encouraging others to trust their own creative voice.

Rooted in design psychology and emotional resonance, she explores how authenticity can deepen the impact of both client work and personal projects.

After a decade in interior design, her practice is evolving into process-led art and design, drawing inspiration from music, poetry, and the natural world.

She’s an American–Dutch interior designer and visual artist, recently relocated to Copenhagen.

We’re excited to welcome her to share her perspective with our community
