Kicking off 6 months of leadership development 🎉

Yesterday, we welcomed a new cohort to our High Impact Leadership Program, bringing together talented leaders across industries for a journey focused on growth, perspective, and real impact.

We started where many leaders are challenged the most right now:
navigating business in a world shaped by uncertainty and AI.

Over the coming months, the programme will take a holistic approach to leadership, building capabilities across:

On the 3rd of June 2025, we gathered inclusive leaders and diversity experts from around the world in Copenhagen for the Womenomics Global Summit. This year’s summit brought together global voices and changemakers for a powerful day focused on “Inclusive Leadership – Shaping Sustainable Workplaces”. Amid pushback on diversity and inclusion efforts, the summit served as a timely reminder that countries and companies that stall or even reverse progress risk falling behind – not just socially, but economically.

Diversity and inclusion have the power to create a necessary paradigm shift across industries and society, according to Danish and international top experts at Womenomics today.

The Womenomics DE&I Conference 2023 ended on a high note. With nearly 800 participants, the event witnessed global trailblazing thought leaders, experts, ambassadors, and CEOs from diverse fields sharing their insights on DE&I. The conference was an eye-opener for the attendees, leaving them inspired and with new takeaways to create a more inclusive and diverse workplace.

It was a remarkable experience to present this years’ Womenomics Award Recipients and their well-deserved recognition at the spectacular Østre Gasværk Teater. The recipients were awarded for being extraordinary role models in their respective fields.

⭐️Julia Hoggett, CEO at London Stock Exchange received The Womenomics Global Impact Award 2023:
The award acknowledges Julia Hoggett for her significant leadership as CEO of the London Stock Exchange and her success in maintaining the stock exchange as a global financial center amidst global economic uncertainty, as well as becoming the leading global hub for sustainable finance. As a prominent LGBTQ+ role model Julia Hoggett has a dedicated voice in the public debate and inspires future talents to pursue leadership careers with impact.

⭐️Sara Olsvig, Chair at Inuit Circumpolar Council, Greenland, received The Womenomics Inclusion Award 2023:
The award acknowledges Sara Olsvig's significant political career and role in advocating for global Inuit communities, as well as the people of Greenland. Sara Olsvig is a strong role model and driver of inclusion for all Indigenous peoples and represents the Inuit interests at global forums.

⭐️Frederikke Antonie Schmidt, Founder & Creative Director at roccamore received The Womenomics Entrepreneurship Award 2023:
The award honours Frederikke Antonie Schmidt who as a disrupter has established a successful brand in a mature market and uses this as a platform to influence the public debate, to challenge gender stereotypes and to champion equality and diverse representation.

⭐️Navid Ostadian-Binai, Head of Green Vessels & Fuels, Maersk Tankers received The Womenomics Allyship Award 2023:
With the award, Navid Ostadian-Binai is recognised for speaking up for Iranian women, using his platform to support the revolution in Iran and identifying as a feminist.

The Womenomics Award Ceremony and the recipient’s speeches created an particularly empowering and touching momentum at Womenomics for all involved, recognising and celebrating the hard work and dedication of these inspiring individuals.

We are still high on the energy from The Womenomics DE&I Conference yesterday! We were extremely honoured to welcome HRH Crown Princess Mary who was previously honored with a Womenomics Award, to the spectacular stage of Østre Gasværk Teater where she kindly congratulated the four Womenomics Award 2023 recipients.

This year HRH Crown Princess Mary spoke about the importance of giving diversity, equity and inclusion the highest priority – also in times of crises and turbulence. Her message was well received by the online audience and the nearly 800 guests in the room and it was such a pleasure sharing our platform with HRH.

Yesterday at Womenomics, we had the pleasure of inviting three great representatives from the realm of arts, namely Laura Uggla, Chair of ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, Casper Bengtson, Managing Director, Universal Music Danmark and Asif Sadiq MBE, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, Warner Bros. Discovery. Our moderator, Karin Cruz Forsstrøm opened the panel debate by asking whether or not we should be worried about the progression of gender equality and broad representation in the field of arts? They all agreed that we recently have seen a lot of progression in the right direction, but that we are still far from the goal. Investments into a more diverse talent pool, diverse role models and insisting on more authentic storytelling were some of the necessary tools to get further faster.

After this, we enjoyed an engaging musical interlude, where singer, actress and entrepreneur Saba Lykke Oehlenschlæger, currently performing in the musical HAIR, sang and shared her personal reflections on how she has experienced diversity on set and how it differs from the way she is normally met.
