Do you ever think about, where all the images, videos, Snaps, and reels from the social media ends up? 🤔

Several large data centers are currently being built in Norway and Finland, among others. This to store all the data created from the social medias as Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok.

With a lot of data stored it is critical to have power available, so in case the power supply is interrupted, supply from emergency gensets is needed.

Silentor is supplier of silencers, for such emergency gensets.
Recently we have supplied a customized silencer solution for 15 gensets, all from engine flanges to the exhaust outlet. This is including a container pe*******on, silencer, tail pipe, and rain hat. The production of further 26 sets is in progress. These specific silencers will be placed on top of the containerized gensets and therefore delivered with metalized surface for improved lifetime when installed outdoors.

In May we will participate in Data Centre World, in Frankfurt, an exhibition which focuses on equipment for Data Centers, and we are looking forward to welcoming you all.

Vi havde besøg af Danske Maritime i går.

Man er IKKE eksperter i korte og enkle forklaringer her hos vores medlemsvirksomhed Silentor A/S S i Frederikshavn 😉
Men til gengæld er man i dén grad eksperter i støjdæmpning, som på skibe kan gøre en kæmpe forskel for både de ombordværende og omgivelserne.

Tak for en virkelig interessant snak om de teknologiske muligheder, men også også om de bureaukratiske forhindringer, som virksomheden desværre oplever. Det er velkendt, at godkendelser kan være en udfordring i det maritime, men her er der tale om bøvl på et niveau, som faktisk kan spænde ben for teknologiske fremskridt på særligt lidt mindre fartøjer.

Samtidig mangler der også mere brugbare standarder på området, så det input vil Danske Maritime nu tage med videre i vores politiske arbejde.

At the moment we have 4 special made silencers (each 6 meter long), on the way with ship to Singapore.
The silencers is sprayed with oil and wrapped in plastic, to protect them. They are packed in 2 pcs. 40GP containers together with suspensions for mounting.

This delivery is no. 3 out of 6, with at total of 24 silencer and 240 suspensions.

Delivery of IMO Tier III - SCR System for propulsion engine

Silentor is proud to announce successful delivery and commissioning, of a CatEMission SCR system, for the Finnish ferry “INNAMO”.
The SCR system is TIER III approved, by DNV, together with the Caterpillar C32 propulsion engine.
The IMO TIER III approval, has been obtained in strong cooperation between Zeppelin DK, Silentor A/S and CatEMission.

CatEMission SCR system is a compact system with airless injection of UREA and a special incorporated mixing unit, giving a minimum requirement for build-in dimensions.

Two weeks ago, we delivered this silencer to a Danish customer. The silencer is specially designed with a bend, to fit perfectly to the engine and ship.
