Heya, friends! I just watched the brilliant award nominated documentary "Dinosaur 13" by director Todd Miller. A film about "Sue", the largest, most extensive and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimen ever found, - her discovery and subsequent legal actions.

In every scene throughout the movie containing historical news paper references (and there are many), they've used my Texture #5 as background! Hurray, what a lovely carnivorous surprise :D

Directed by Todd Douglas Miller. With Stan Adelstein, Lanice Archer, Robert Bakker, Philip Currie. A documentary about the discovery of the largest Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil ever found.

This is crazy on so many levels.. the movie is called "Hobo With A Shotgun", it has THE Rutger Hauer (from Blade Runner) in the leading role, its storyline goes; "A homeless vigilante blows away crooked cops, pe*****le Santas, and other scumbags with his trusty pump-action shotgun" (IMDb) - ..AAAND it has my easily recognizable paper texture on the movie poster! Yeah baby :D

Wooo! THEE Oatmeal used one of my textures in his newest addition to his hall of fame of awesomeness! It can't get any bigger than this - this is a clear 10/10 - Not even my textures used in that Hollywood flick nor the national USA beer campaign gets remotely near this proud moment. I bow humbly :D

A note from the author:My girlfriend originally suggested that I write a guest post for her coffee website about how coffee mysteriously tastes better when drunk from a porcelain cup instead of a paper cup.

Amazing oldschool handcrafted typography made for Jack Daniels. I just so wish there'd be many more like these highly talented (and mighty patient) guys in the world of advertising!

Jack Daniel's loves Independence Day. Last July, the whiskey brand built a campaign around letterpress printing, employing Yee-Haw Industries to create a bunch of patriotic posters and chronicled the process in a wonderful two-and-a-half minute documentary. Now, it's back with an encore.
