🚢🇩🇰 Denmark and India join forces to search for the the first known Danish ship to reach India. 🔍🌊

Denmark and India have launched a joint underwater archaeology project to locate the remains of the historic Danish ship Øresund, which sank near Karaikal on India’s coast in 1619(400+ years ago). The vessel holds a special place in history as the first known Danish ship to reach India.

The project is being carried out by the Archaeological Survey of India and the National Museum of Denmark’s maritime heritage center in Copenhagen. Using modern, non-invasive technology, researchers hope to find and document the shipwreck and learn more about the early maritime connections between Denmark and India.

Nepali climber Dawa Sherpa has made a miraculous return from Mount Everest after reportedly surviving nearly six days on the world’s highest mountain without food or supplementary oxygen 😳❄️

Since Tuesday, several citizens and businesses in Vangede have been without water due to a rupture in a major water main.
The water supply is still closed on Wednesday morning, but Novafos announces on their website that the water is expected to be restored at 11 a.m.
The water main break is located at Lyngbyvejen by Ikea in Gentofte.
Novafos will continuously update their customers via their website.

📱 Popular expense-sharing app ShareIt shutting down in Denmark 🇩🇰⚠️

The Danish payment app ShareIt, used for splitting and settling expenses between friends and groups, will officially shut down on August 15, 2026.

Digital bank Lunar, which owns the app, informed users about the closure through email 👀

ShareIt was launched in 2023 after MobilePay closed its similar app WeShare, and quickly became popular for sharing bills, trips, dinners, and group expenses 💸

After August 15, the app will no longer work on some platforms, meaning users may need to move to alternative expense-sharing services.
