Изначальная задача состояла в том, чтобы подобранные специалистом по оформлению цветовые схемы из печатного издания превратить в наборы цветовых проб в программе Adobe Illustrator. Наборов было около десятка, а подобного вида микрозадача возникала уже не один раз. В результате было принято решение создать инструмент на AppleScript, который будет считывать из текстового файла параметры цветовых проб, объединенных в наборы, и создавать соответствующие Color Group и Color Swatch сохраняя названия из книги.

Lähteülesanne oli muuta disainispetsialisti poolt trükiväljaandest välja valitud värvilahendused Adobe Illustratoris värvinäidiste komplektideks. Komplekte oli kümmekond ja sarnast tüüpi mikroülesanne oli tekkinud rohkem kui korra.Sellest tulenevalt otsustati luua AppleScriptis tööriist, mis loeks tekstifailist komplektideks kombineeritud värvinäidiste parameetrid ning looks vastavad Color Group ja Color Swatch, säilitades raamatust nimed.
This is the case when the creation of a utilitarian tool turns into a small independent project.
The initial task was to transform the color schemes selected by the designer from the printed edition into sets of color samples in Adobe Illustrator. There were about ten sets, and a similar type of microtask had arisen more than once. As a result, it was decided to create a tool in AppleScript that would read the parameters of color samples, combined into sets, from a text file and create the corresponding Color Group and Color Swatch, preserving the names from the book.
