A band that has opened for (UK) and (UK), and collaborated with artists like (FR), (DE/ES) and (LT).

A band that can go from indie-folk to raw, emotional guitar-driven sound in a split second. Ambient textures, stories you can jump into, and walls of beautiful sound built right there in the “HEAT OF THE MOMENTT” (also the name of their latest single, btw).

A band led by a singer, songwriter and a genuinely wonderful human being from Riga, Latvia — Kristaps Bedrītis. Backed by three great musicians — (guitar), (bass) and (drums).

Guys, one of the most anticipated industry events in the Baltics is taking place next week in , and we’re proud to say that Latvian saxophonist will be doing a showcase performance at the event.

The band will perform material from their upcoming album (out in autumn), which, if I may say, is darker, louder, and “metal music–inspired”, but still full of the melodic lines and open improvisation that you all love him for.

Many “firsts” happened last week, and must admit, that I caught myself proudly smiling more than a few times.

Liva Petersone-Klavina, Agnese Cimuska-Rekke, Guna Zučika – the three pillars of this music industry event – congratulations on a huge success, and thank you for letting me be part of this important milestone: the first-ever Riga Music Week 🥇

Thank you for everyone who came to “ConTakts Black Stage” and enjoyed the magic that was delivered by Nika Ganga , Melina Malone , Hania Derej , VERY COOL PEOPLE and Toms Rudzinskis .

Thank you, Valters Mucenieks and CONTAKTS, for being the most welcoming venue hosts — and UBS - Universal Baltic Sound, Company NA for doing a mega job supporting everything at the highest quality.

Still Figure wouldn’t be possible without the wonderful team I trusted with my whole heart during this wild week — Estere Tauriņa, Roberta Baļčūne, Daniela Kruste, and of course my jazz-partner-in-crime, Toms Rudzinskis. 🫶

Well, what now? I’ll just say, there’ll be some new music coming out and the spirit of december also is already around the corner.
