Data & Settings: We do not anticipate any changes to your DNS, IP addresses, or login credentials.
Environment Upgrade: Your environment is being moved to an AlmaLinux 9 server as CentOS 6 has exceeded end of life support and poses continued security risk. While we cannot offer alternative OS options at this time, we fully support all versions of PHP, MySQL, and other services currently compatible with AlmaLinux 9.
Compatibility: If you encounter any version incompatibilities following the move, our team is available if you have questions about your services. Please note that you may need to engage additional services for older code bases that require compatibility updates.

We applied the patch to our cPanel software the same day. Where our monitoring identified servers that may have been affected before patching completed, we took those servers offline as a precaution. Work is in progress, and most servers are coming back through a transfer process that preserves files and databases.

Security and maintenance updates
We released updated packages for EasyApache 4.
This security release updates ea-apache24 to 2.4.67, addressing 11 CVEs including an important remote code ex*****on vulnerability (CVE-2026-23918 in mod_http2). It also patches ea-libcurl (CentOS 7 only) with 6 security fixes backported from curl 8.20.0.

The root cause has been officially announced by cPanel, and they have released a fix. However, even with the fix available, we’re unable to provide an exact timeline yet.
This is because the fix must be carefully validated and applied across affected servers, taking into account differences in server environments, OS versions, security configurations, and current server states. In some cases, additional adjustments or testing are required to ensure stability and prevent service disruption or data issues.
Since this is a global issue impacting a large number of servers, the rollout and verification process can vary from one server to another. Our senior engineers are actively implementing and testing the fix to ensure it is applied safely and correctly.
