Job Description:

As a Wordpress developer, you will write PHP code for new WordPress Plugins and add-ons that modifies some existing plugins like buddypress and woocommerce. You will be responsible for maintaining them, updating them, and solving new incidents and errors. You must collaborate and coordinate with team members and customers to solve capture issues and feature requests. This position will report weekly to a Software Team Leader.

Responsibilities:
• Write “clean”, well-designed code
• Produce detailed specifications
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow industry best practices
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Requirements:
• Good communication in English.
• At least 3 years of work experience in WordPress or PHP.
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• The ability to integrate a variety of data sources and databases into a single system.
• Proficiency when it comes to code versioning tools.
• Good knowledge of SQL and related databases, with a preference for those with MySQL experience.

Good to have:
• Background on Python, React, and React native.
• Good communication in French.
