Sunway is looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Heavy Trucks) to join our team and support the efficient and reliable operation of our fleet (Day & Night Shift).
Required Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate and supervise preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities for heavy trucks.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and ensure that repair activities are performed according to OEM specifications, maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Verify the quality of completed maintenance work through inspections, testing and road tests before releasing trucks to operation.
• Inspect trucks and evaluate their technical condition before and after maintenance and repair activities.
• Carry out periodic fleet inspections and condition assessments and recommend repair, refurbishment, replacement, or retirement of vehicles when required.
• Manage maintenance work orders, service records, inspection reports and equipment history through CMMS/ERP systems.
• Monitor tire condition, tread wear, tire pressure, alignment and tire performance and implement actions to reduce tire-related costs.
• Coordinate with the Operations Department to plan truck availability and schedule maintenance without affecting operational requirements.
