اختيار سمر عاصم كواحدة من دعاة الشباب من الأمم المتحدة من مصر للمساعدة في حل التحديات الرقمية للشباب وتمكينهم من تطوير مهاراتهم عبر الإنترنت. تخرجت سمر من الجامعة الألمانية في القاهرة في عام 2009 ، في وقت عصيب من الركود العالمي.

Samar Assem has been chosen as one of the UN women youth advocates from Egypt to help solving youth digital challenges and to empower them develop their online skills. Samar has Graduated from the German University in Cairo in 2009 with high, at a hard time of global recession.

كان تركيزها طوال سنوات دراستها على كيفية الاستفادة من مجالات الإنترنت المتنامي لفتح آفاق جديدة للجميع. ولتحقيق حلمها، تركت وظيفتها المستقرة في مجال الخدمات المصرفية وبدأت في عام 2010 وظيفة في مجال الإعلان الإلكتروني وإدارة الأداء حيث حصلت على العديد من الشهادات في مجال التسويق الرقمي وإدارة الأداء والتحول الرقمي.

Her focus across all her years of study was on how to make use of the booming internet to open new horizons for everyone. To Achieve her dream, she left her stable job in banking and started in 2010 a very low paying job in Online advertising and performance management where she earned many certifications in digital marketing, performance management and digital transformation.

وقد شغلت سمر العديد من المناصب في العديد من الشركات، وحققت نمواً كبيراً من خلال معرفتها في مجال بناء الأدوات الرقمية و تطويرها ، وشملت مسيرتها المهنية رئاسة الإدارات الرقمية في شركات عالمية مثل فيرمونت وغبور وغيرها الكثير.

Samar has occupied several positions in many companies, achieving significant growth through her knowledge in building and manipulating digital tools, her career included heading the digital departments at Fairmont, Ghabbour and many others.

تساعد سمر الشركات الناشئة و الشباب على تطوير مهاراتهم الرقمية من خلال نقل معارفها مجاناً أو من خلال منصة مدعومة تسمى "The Growth Formula " حيث يمكن للشباب الوصول إلى تجارب التعلم بالمعايير العالمية مقابل سعر مدعوم جدا او مجانا. وقد تمكنت سمر من تدريب أكثر من 15,000 شاب و شابة خلال فترة الكورونا، وحلمها هو الوصول إلى جميع ارجاء أفريقيا و الوطن العربي بحلول عام 2025.

Samar has been helping startups and young professionals develop their digital skills by transferring her knowledge for free or through a subsidized platform called “The growth formula” where young professionals can gain access to top-notch learning experiences for a very subsidized price.
Samar has managed to train over 15,000 young persons during the pandemic and her dream is to reach out to all Africa by 2025.
